OOC note: The Following promo takes place between the events of Road To Black Thursday part 2, written on November 26, 2005, and The December 5, 2005 Monday Night Fights
Nov. 26, 2005
Ravager walks out of Alberta Hospital. As he goes to his car, his cell phone rings.
Ravager: Make it quick... Yeah. It's done. I think my father learned a lesson. .... No! I told you, only one favor. ... I have a match Thursday Night.... What?! I'll get home as soon as I can... Well, if it can't wait... (sighs) I'll be home in a few hours.
Cut to Ravager's apartment. He has a speaker phone on. He is looking at pictures that have been sent to him. We can see a shot of a child playing in a park.
Ravager: Okay. Jenny's growing like a weed. But I'm sure my sister has nicer pictures of my niece to send than this one.
Voice (over phone): Look at the next file.
Ravager clicks on a file. We see a blow up of the picture. A man is in the shadows, watching the child play.
Ravager: Call the cops.
Voice: We have. The guy in the picture is working for someone else. Someone in your neck of the woods.
Ravager: Who?
Voice: Click on the next file.
Ravager clicks on the next file. A full color picture of Misery appears on the screen.
Ravager: Okay. I'll take care of this in the locker room.
Voice: No. You need to make this public. This man has followers. You need to take him down hard, and you need to make a lot of noise when you do.
Ravager: Give me a few days. Make sure Jenny isn't left alone. I'll take care of this.

November 28, 2005
Ravager, with his actors. Anne Downey, who'll go on to portray his wife. And Mark and Catherine Rosewood, who'll play his children.
Ravager: Okay. Here's the deal. All you have to do is play the part of my dysfunctional family.
Mark: That's it?
Ravager: Taking into account you're being used as decoys for a madman, yeah, that's it.
Anne: Isn't wrestling fake?
Ravager glares.
Ravager: There's nothing fake about what Misery plans for my family. I assure you you're in no danger. I just need to pull the wool over the eyes of as many people as possible. Hopefully I can get this done quickly. That all depends on how convincing you all can be.
Catherine: I've been acting since I was four. I think I can fool some blown up maniac.
Ravager: And you're now my favorite child. I'll be in touch with all of you soon. You have the number to call if any trouble comes up.

Cut to The Butterdome. December 1st, 2005. Black Thursday. Ravager emerges backstage after regaining his Provincial title. He is approached by a road agent.
Agent: Congratulations champ.
Ravager: (mumbling) Thanks.
Agent: And it looks like you already have your opponent for your first title defense.
Ravager: No day off for me?
Agent: Well, you've been challenged.
Ravager: By who?
Agent looks slightly upset. He hands Ravager an envelope. Ravager pulls out a set of pictures. Of his "wife" and "children". Ravager tries to contain his smile.
Agent: It's Misery. He says if you don't grant him a title match...
Ravager: He's got it. I won't let him anywhere near my family. Monday Night. Make it No DQ.
Agent: Are you sure?
Ravager: Positive.
--------
December 5, 2005. After Monday Night Fights. With the help of his "family" Ravager has defeated Misery. Backstage, Ravager is handing out the money.
Ravager: Okay. Good job everyone. Now, there's an extra grand in it for each of you if you never give the real reason for why I hired you.
Mark: Why?
Ravager: I prefer to keep some things a mystery about me. You saw what happens when one lunatic gets close, who knows what'll happen if...
Anne: (interrupting) I must say, Mr. Ravager, that this is the wildest part I've ever had.
Ravager looks confused for a brief second. Anne nods to something behind her. Ravager looks in the window of the door behind the actors. He sees an angry D! approaching from behind. Ravager changes gears quickly.
Ravager: Well, that's the theatre for you! Always an adventure.
Anne: And you're sure that your opponent wasn't too badly hurt? His pain seemed so genuine!
Ravager: (Tsks.) Oh, Marcel, that ham. Always overdoing it. But come on, you know professional wrestling's fake, right? You didn't really pepper spray or taze a human being, that would be cruel.
Ravager hands them all bill-stuffed envelopes.
Ravager: Now run along, you three.
The actors leave by the stage door. Ravager, humming, turns around, only to run smack-dab into a livid D!
D!: You . . . used me. As part of your little play.
Ravager: So I did.
Ravager pushes past him.
Ravager: Nothing personal. (as he gets out of earshot) You wouldn't understand anyways.
The camera focuses on D! by the door, furiously staring holes into the back of Ravager's head.
Fade to Black
To Be Concluded.
OOC Note: The last part is almost entirely from D!'s promo - Reality, written on December 5, 2005. It has been used with permission, and changes have been added to show Ravager's point of view.
