Ravager, watching the tape of D! and Moose Miller at the Strat. He shakes his head as he watches D! interact with the RAVAGER FAN
I told the marketing guys, I wanted the shirt to say "Business is Business". (sighs) I guess that's why I'm just a wrestler.
So D! Moose Miller. You've bonded. That's great. You've shared your stories about how I can't be trusted. How Maniac can't be trusted. Good. I don't really trust Maniac either. But then, I didn't get where I am by trusting everyone.
And D! Mister trustworthy himself. Stalks the Predator to get back a broken title belt, then attacks him in the street. And you have the gall to criticize me? You talk about me being a scorpion, ready to sting anyone at a moments notice, and you go to Static for help in your title match? A man who nearly beat his manager to death in the middle of the ring? Take a look in the mirror before you start lecturing me on my morals. And you talk about me hogging your spotlight by standing at the entrance after your title win at Joker's Wild. (smirks) This from a guy who hyped his first appearance on Action like it was the wrestling event of the century, even though guys like Static, Lobo and myself had been working our asses off to make that show special while you had a "well deserved" night off. Perks of being champ, I guess. That and being able to carry that belt around everywhere. Kind of like Linus and his security blanket. And we all saw how well you handled it when it got taken a way from you.
And Moose. Despite what people may think, I'm glad to see you back. You made me work harder to win my first match. And you were man enough to admit I was the better wrestler. Just so you know, things haven't changed. I'm still the better wrestler. And I'll be more than happy to prove it Monday Night.
And both of you, don't spend your time wondering why the fans cheer for certain people. As long as they're in the seats yelling and screaming, you'll have a steady paycheck. You just need to worry about your opponents, and pinning them to the mat.
And Maniac. ....
Ravager looks to the phone.
My phone's been silent. I've wanted to discuss strategy with you. I know you have stuff going on in your life. But I know you can get things done in the ring. Just don't forget where your priorities lie Monday Night. This is your first NAPW Main Event Match. Don't blow it by allowing yourself to get distracted. We have two worthy opponents who will jump at our first sign of weakness. We can't let that happen. And I will not let you cost me this match. I have worked too hard to reach the number one contendership. I won't be humbled before I get my shot. You have worked too hard through your illustrious career to be bad mouthed by a man with one win to his credit. This Monday, it's time to shake things up in the NAPW. First, by us winning the Main Event. Then, I'll take the NAPW title from D! Maniac, you can take... I don't know, the Provincial title. Or shut Chris Casino up for good. When you're ready, I'll be happy to put my title on the line against you.
But all of that is a moot point if we lose. So Maniac. You better be prepared Monday Night. And you better be as good as you make yourself out to be.
Fade to black.
