The NAPW Champion Chris Casino steps through the curtains and takes in his surroundings. He's dressed for war, wearing long black tights and black wrestling boots. His hair pulled into a tight ponytail and the NAPW Heavyweight Title is draped over his shoulder. A hint of a smile creeps across his face as he looks at the 15 foot high steel cage that sits in the middle of the room. Casino glances to his left and spies the custom made wheelchair he had built for D! resting on a small platform. Ready for use. Casino slowly walks down the aisle, passing row after row of chairs that have been set up by the NAPW ring crew.
Casino: It's like déjà vu isn't it D!? You and I? We've been here before. Inside this very cage. Last time we met like this I watched as you walked down this aisle the NAPW Champion and full of confidence. It was at that moment that I knew I hated you. I hated your swagger. I hated your confidence. But most of all I hated the fact that you held the NAPW Title and I didn't. As much as I shudder to admit this D!. We're just alike, you and I. Two sides of the same coin.
In fact, I was even like you once. A few years ago I would have been proud to call you my friend. When I first started in this industry I looked to the fans for their strength. Their support. Even when I wrestled overseas I loved the fans and they loved me. Until I lost of course. It's a funny thing D!, you're only in the fans good graces as long as you're winning. They turned on me D!. Just like they've started to turn on you. Sure you still have some hardcore supporters out there. I hear them chant your name. One letter. Said real loud.
But tomorrow I end it all. I tear down that last bit of "aura" you have about you and the fans...Well, the fans will turns their backs on you. How will you take it D!? I took my hatred, my contempt and used it for fuel. Their hate for me made me a better wrestler. But looking at you, watching as you scramble around looking for any edge you can get in tomorrows match shows me that you're simply not capable of admitting defeat. I hope you crack D!. I hope that once you see my arm raised in victory, again, that your soul dies right here in this make shift arena.
Casino walks up the steel steps and pushes open the door to the cage. He hesitates and then steps inside. He shakes the cage, making sure it's secure and paces around like a caged animal.
Casino: Why did you do it D!? Why did you feel the need to come back? You can't beat me. Hell, I suspect even you know that. Last time we met you all but guaranteed a victory for you. But you failed. Miserably. Tomorrow will be no different. I've thought out every angle, every move, every breath I'll take inside this cage tomorrow D!. I have no intentions of losing the NAPW Title, not to you or anyone else. As I watched your sad little promo I knew that you felt the same.
Why else would you go off looking for the original NAPW Title? I watched as you and Predator argued like children over a belt...That means nothing. This belt (pats the NAPW Title on his shoulder) is the ONLY title in this company that matters. Once I beat yu back in December I said "good-bye" to the old ways. Your ways. And "Hello" to the new era of NAPW. An era of huge buy rates, filled arenas and sky high TV ratings. It would be a disservice to this title and this company if I were to allow your sorry ass to once again wear it.
I am Chris Casino, "The Future" of NAPW and bitch, the future is now. At Joker's Wild we once again, for the last time, step inside a steel cage and do battle for the biggest prize in this company. I will do everything and anything in order to keep what I feel is mine. The question I want to know is...What about you? Just how bad do you want this title back? Are you willing to sink to my level yet D!? If so, if you're even considering it then I've already won. You can't beat me at my own game you stupid white trash washed up dirty Canadian. So don't even try.
Casino stands in a corner and looks around the cage. He takes the NAPW Title and drapes it over a ring rope.
Casino: Face it, the fans, the company even your own family have lost faith in you. They know you can't beat me. Hell, they know you shouldn't even have come back to NAPW! All that awaits you here is heartache and pain. Look at me D!, you don't see me off in some dark woods looking for a meaningless piece of tin. You don't see me having diner with the family, asking for their emotional support. You don't see me doing this because I never lose D!. I have yet to be pinned or submit here in NAPW.
I had such high hopes for you D!. When you came back I had hoped that your loss would have toughened you up. Instead you're even more of a little bitch than before. Our little war of words has been one sided D!. People, they care about what I say and do. They couldn't give a damn about what some loser with a one letter name could possibly tell them. Unlike you, I am at total piece with who I am and what I am D!. I'm the greatest wrestler in this company. Period.
Voice: What are you doing Chris?
Casino looks over and spots Evan Cartwright standing at ringside peering into the cage.
Casino: Come on in, the water's fine.
Cartwright laughs and enters the steel cage. A device built for pain and misery.
Cartwright: You ready?
Casino: Always. What about you?
Cartwright: No problem. They might as well announce me as the winner right now.
The two old friends laugh.
Cartwright: You still on tap for Japan the week after Joker's wild?
Casino: Yeah, I'm booked for three dates over there. Just like old times.
Cartwright: Only I won't be there to look after your ass. Stay out of the Geisha houses.
Casino gives him a "Who me?" look.
Cartwright: Seriously, good luck tomorrow man. It'll be a fight to remember.
Casino: Never fear my brother from a different mother. After Joker's Wild I'll still be the NAPW Champ. D!'s just a loose end that I need to tie up before I move on.
Cartwright: Who do you think will win the #1 contendership match?
Casino: Pfffffffffft, who cares? Ravage, Lobo, Mr. Mystery Man. Line 'em up I say. There isn't a soul in NAPW I fear. I'll defend the title against anyone they toss at me.
Cartwright: I hear that. Look, I'm headed to the bar. Want to tag along?
Casino looks around the cage.
Casino: No. Maybe later.
They smile and shake hands. Casino watches as his friend leaves the confines of the cage and he pulls the NAPW Title off of the rope where it was resting.
Casino: (whispering) See you tomorrow D!.
Casino drapes the title over his shoulder and leaves the cage.
