We fade up to the sound of rushing water and wind. The sick smell of oil and machinery flows through our nostrils. Thick, damp, warm air fills our lungs, roughly. There is no light. By the smells and sounds we immediately guess that we are in a sewer line somewhere, but have no idea exactly where we are.
A candle flickers on directly in front of the camera lens. The flame burns with a passion, much like Predator's hate for Chris Casino, as the wick slowly, but surely, shrinks. The wax of the candle drips downward toward the bottom of the white candle, where a gold plated candle holder lay sitting on a gloved hand. The smell of oil and machinery is immediately replaced with the sweet smell of the candle, although very little light is emitted.
The hand holding the candle drops down to illuminate the face of the man holding the candle. The face concealed by the silver mask.
PREDATOR - Look into this light, and then look around you at the dark. What does it remind you of?
He lifts the candle up to his right, and a long ledge, covered in something that smells like gas, lights up immediately.
PREDATOR - Now, watch the light consume the darkness. Watch as the darkness slowly drifts away. What does that remind you of?
He begins to walk down the long concrete shore of what appears to be an underground river. It rages onward in the opposite direction that The Predator is walking.
PREDATOR - If it does not ring any bells now, consider the future. When D! utterly destroys Chris Casino, and possible the entire Rat Pack, and eliminates them from the NAPW. But then, let's consider the following.
Our masked host continues to walk down the long shore. He comes to a stop, suddenly, and it seems for no apparent reason.
PREDATOR - Maybe this light represents the power of both Ravager, and The Predator. The light overcomes the darkness of Lobo, Thunder, and our mystery guest. This is all just a simple way of saying, "the light will overcome the darkness".
He begins to walk again. This time he picks up a stick and rubs it along the ledge. The stick catches fire and the darkness of whatever lies ahead is illuminated.
PREDATOR - Lobo, it appears, actually believes I fear him. He believes I fear him without realizing such truth as, I am not afraid of anything. Lobo, why should you be any different than Mirage to me? As a member of the Rat Pack you enforce my point: The Light will overcome the Darkness.
He stops, laughs, and drops his torch into the river, leaving the tunnel in darkness.
PREDATOR - You assume that Chris Casino will retain his precious title at Joker's Wild, without considering the pain, the agony, and irony that D! has and will overcome to get his title back. You have no idea what happens on Monday, neither does Casino, Ravager, or even myself for that matter, but I do know this: everyone with half a mind knows that D! can not lose. Why can't you?
He sighs. We cannot see him, but we hear the sound of a large splash as we fade to . . . well, black, I guess.
