(Kar, Pain, and Bio are all bundled up in a big pile, out cold. Mirage's eyes are glowing white; something everyone has had just about enough of. He looks at his hands that are drenched in blood, smiling, and then leans back bursting out in a familiar maniacle laughter.)
(Predator is slowly struggling to get to his feet. D! tries to help him up, but is refused forcefully.)
D! - Woa! Hey, come on! You can't honestly say you don't need help?
PREDATOR - No . . . fear . . .
(Mirage stops laughing in time to see Predator nearly get to his feet. He leaps on top of him, pinning him to the floor with his foot.)
MIRAGE - My Nameless Minion, you disappoint me. I was almost certain you would be able to handle us now, of all times, when you were strong.
(He takes his large black leather boot off of the back of Predator's neck.)
MIRAGE - You are NOTHNG! You hear!? NOTHING!
(D! leans in to try and help again.)
PREDATOR - (weakly) Why . . . do you . . . persist?
(D! lets a grin pass the corner of his mouth.)
D! - Because as a team, we have to.
(Mirage walks away and grabs Pain's double-head sword. Predator is making better progress at getting to his feet. Is it because D! is helping him? No. Is it because of D!'s words? No. Is it because someone like The Predator never gives up? Maybe, but The Predator has a fire burning beneath him that no one could posibly understand.)
PREDATOR - Things have changed.
D! - Ok . . . uhh, how?
(Predator reaches his feet. Mirage makes ready for the final battle.)
MIRAGE - Alright, my Nameless One. Let's see what you have learned without my teachings.
(Predator walks towards Mirage without answering D!, who doesn't protest because he too believes that The Predator is named The Predator for a pretty damn good reason. The Predator reaches for his face, pulls some small tubes at his neck releasing shoots of air, and he removes his mask, taking a deep breath.)
(His face is now dripping small amounts of blood, and his yellow eyes are still angrily set focussed on his former master, Mirage.)
MIRAGE - You can't win, and you know it, too.
PREDATOR - Mirage, there is something you need to know . . .
MIRAGE - Oh? And what's that?
(Predator smiles.)
PREDATOR - . . . your shoe's untied . . .
MIRAGE - (bending to tie his shoe) Oh, thank y--
(The Predator bursted out with a vicious spear that folds Mirage in half. Seem familiar? Mirage is ready though, he knows that Predator is going for another -- Chokeslam? Vicious chokeslam on top of Kar, Bio, and Pain!)
PREDATOR - I should have thought so much stupidity was impossible. How could you fall for that at a time like this?
(Mirage gets to his feet, rather quickly.)
MIRAGE - Something I was prepared for. Now, fight!
(Predator does not seem to know what the Hell is going on, and neither does D!. Mirage leaps toward Predator, who charges underneath him and turns with a massive superkick to the back of Mirage's head. Now Predator is on the offensive, but not with the blade. He is trying to pull Mirage's mask off?)
PREDATOR - I know what you are . . .
(Mirage spits out portions of blood.)
PREDATOR - . . . and I know what you are not . . .
(D! is watching, intently, what is happening. Mirage suddenly breaks free and The Predator is using the momentum given to him to do various back-flips in mid-air before landing nimbly on his feet.)
MIRAGE - What I am not does not concern you.
(Mirage reaches to his side to find something . . .)
PREDATOR - Looking for something?
(He stands swinging a small blade of some kind. He then looks at the enraged expression on Mirage's face, and then discards the blade over the side of the building.)
PREDATOR - Woops. How clumsy of me.
(He aims his gauntlet up, and two swords burst into the air. Mirage catches one, and Predator does likewise before they begin.)
(Predator on the offensive, backing Mirage into a corner, but Mirage uses the wall to push off and take the offensive, forcing Predator to take the defensive.)
(Their blades meet in the middle and they push on eachother to see who backs off first. Sparks fly from where the two blades meet, illuminating Predator's deep, yellow eyes.)
(Mirage shoots a blade from his own wrist, and shoves the small blade into Predator's chest. Predator drops to his knees, clutching the wound, and D! rushes Mirage with Pain's double-head blade.)
PREDATOR - D! . . . NO!
(But it is already too late. Mirage has knocked the blade out of D!'s hand, and takes his dagger and Predator's sword and places them both on opposite shoulders.)
MIRAGE - Tell me, D!, what does 'D' stand for? Dumbass? Delusions of Grandeur? Pick one, because they both fit your situation.
(Predator struggles to his feet. He retracts his blade and slowly walks towards Mirage. D! is trying not to take deep breaths due to the closeness of the two blades.)
MIRAGE - (to Predator) Why don't you just die? I just put a knife through your chest, God damn it! Why don't you just die?
(Predator doesn't answer. He walks towards Mirage, rage adding into his yellow eyes.)
PREDATOR - Like I said . . . (spits out blood) . . . things have changed.
MIRAGE - Changed? What change?
(Predator smiles and leaps to Mirage tearing his mask off revealing his scarred face. He then grabs Mirage and pulls him away fom D!. He then whispers something in D!'s ear and runs to the other side of Mirage.)
PREDATOR - The change? You will never know how things have changed . . .
MIRAGE - And why is that?
(Predator glances at D!, giving him the 'OK' look, and they both charge in Mirage's direction. The Predator delivered Mirage a massive clothesline just as D! delivered a spear to the back of Mirage's leg. Mirage takes a spin before landing on his head in agony.)
D! - (to Predator) Will you tell me how things have changed?
PREDATOR - (to Mirage, obviously ignoring D!) And so the student surpasses the teacher.
MIRAGE - (spitting out various amounts of blood, getting to his feet) Yes. But things have changed.
D! - (impatiently) WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW THE (BLEEP) THINGS HAVE CHANGED?
PREDATOR - Yes, please do, master.
MIRAGE - This time, the Hunter became the Hunted. So, The Nameless One is forced to kill me or the Hunt will never end.
PREDATOR - (glancing at D!) We will see about that.
(Mirage has found his feet, and Predator unloads a spear into Mirage's mid-section, folding him in half. Then Mirage finds his feet smiling, and Predator unloads another vicious spear.)
D! - (whispering loudly, immitating a crowd) ONE MORE! ONE MORE!
(Predator crouches down low, Mirage gets to his feet, and D! unloads a spear? Yes! Mirage was expecting Predator, not D!. Then, Predator and D! hoist Mirage up, and pound him into the concrete roof in a double-Blue Thunder Bomb!)
PREDATOR - Things have changed . . .
(He walks away, throwing Mirage's mask over to D!.)
D! - And what the Hell do you want me to do with this?
(Predator continues to walk away.)
PREDATOR - I don't want to see that face ever again.
(D! catches up with Predator after dropping the mask on Mirage's limp and bloody body.)
D! - So, are you going to tell me how things have changed?
PREDATOR - No, I think you already know . . .
D! - Actually I don't know . . . come on, tell me!
(Predator smiles. D! keeps arguing with Predator (who keeps refusing) regarding the answer to the question as they walk off into the now rising sun.)
