Stories below, in the hotel’s workout center, a black-taped fist with "F U" in white across the back of the hand slams into a punching bag. The sound echoes off the walls of the other wise empty room.
David stands in front of the bag, drenched in sweat. He throws another right into the center of the bag, takes a half-step to the left, and swings around with a left hook into the bag’s sandy guts.
He's the smallest guy in the match, so he has to get stronger, hit harder. He has to be able to throw those sledgehammer blows that can crush a man’s face like a bag of f**kin’ Sun Chips. He wants to crush everyone and send them a heartfelt message.
Right, left, right, right, left, right, right. Sweat pours in rivulets reeking of Gatorade down the sides of his face, having already conquered the water retention capabilities of the black headband around the forehead of the Worlds's Greatest Athlete.
He has to hit faster. He needs to land four punches to the face and ribs of the Bluegrass Ass Kisser for every one that Hurtis gets on him. The Road to Glory champion has a way of making those ‘ones’ worth a couple from anyone else.
The sound of Davids' leg striking the side of the bag goes off like a shotgun blast in the room, reverberating for seconds. He’s gotta kick hard enough to make Murcielago want to crawl back into the womb. His legs don’t resemble the sides of cow hanging in Chicago’s meat-packaging plants the way Lloyd's does, so every blow landed needs to be a message well-received:
(BLEEP) You. >=)
Davis pauses for a moment. He could quit, of course... but then he’d want to die, and that just isn’t going to help him on the 21st. No, he’s just gotta keep at it, despite wanting nothing more than to collapse on the mats and pass out.
It’s crunch time, and no one’s gonna postpone this because David wants more training time.
The biggest match of his life is approaching like a freight train.
Butfirst..

As you all should know by now, I have entered REBEL Pro and have made an impact almost immediately. I tried to tell you all, I warned you about what was going to happen when I stepped foot in the door. Since day one, I have been true to my word and so far only one man has experianced first hand what David Banks brings to the table. Me and Dio Muerte stole the show. I took everything he could give and I still came out on top. If thats not telling you what I am capeable of doing then I dont know what else you want me to do. I am untouchable, the faster that the "superstars" here in REBEL get that through their heads the better they will be in the long run. Concede to me now is what you should do. Roll over and accept the fact that David Banks is running the show now. Its only going to be a matter of time, in fact, its only going to be just a little under a two days now. "Ladder to Success" is on the horizon, and on that night, yours truly step into the ring with five other men. The winner of that, well, walks away as the very first Carolinas Champion, a Championship that I will be claiming myself.
First thing is first of course. I have to "win" the match, haha, like that is going to even be in question. A six man ladder match is what I see in front of me. Matthew Kurtis , Brian Bruno, Cataclysm, Clint Zellor, and Murcielago. These five men are going to be stepping into the ring after the same goal that I am, the only difference is, heh, well I dont have to fight me! Another thing that puts this match to my advantage, aside from the fact that I am simply the most talented wrestler in the ring on that night, is the fact that ALL of my opponents don't know what it feels like to win a frinkin' match.
Bahaha.Oh man, can "Ladder to Success" come any faster? I mean I am dying to get into that ring and show REBEL their future Carolinas Champion. I am itching to make those other five men see they have no business being in the ring with a talent like myself. Its going to be a GREAT night, well for me at least. Its time to separate the losers from the winners, LTS is going to be all about me. I going to make my mark as singles wrestler, and maybe finally people will start to realize that they have no chance to stop me, no way to contain me, and most certainly no way to BEAT me!
Now, I cant honestly say I know everything there is to know about the men I will be facing, but I know enough to get by. Murcielago, I think its safe to say that we can cross his name off the list right now. I bet you're still hurting from the beating you took at the hand of Caliban. Not too many men, outside of myself of course, would be able to withstand a beating like that, and then go into a six man ladder match and walk out the winner of both events. My advice to you would be to focus on your history. I mean honestly, there is no way that you can really think you have a chance at beating me right? Be happy with what you have, realize that you need to put maximum effort into that ladder match. I am only trying to look out for you here, give you some helpful advice. I hope you take it to heart because I would hate to see a smart guy like yourself dropped on his head.
Then theres this Cataclysm guy. Not caring about that championship belt is going to make it impossible for you to even hang with me in this ladder match for, five minutes at the max. You walking the path of respect, but made a wrong turn to the path of certain doom. You know Cataclysm, there is something I have noticed about you. You seem to be the kind of guy to give credit to people, understand them, relate to them. I hope you dont let your odd thoughts cloud the fact that you really have no chance in hell of ever defeating me in the ring. Am I getting through to you? Does this make sense to you in any way what so ever? Do I need to get a translater? These are all questions that are running through my mind when I am addressing you. I think you are a smart enough man to understand what I am trying to say, because if you dont.. eeeeshhh.. its not going to be a very pretty day for you at End Game.
Now I can't forget Matthew Kurtis. He's here to kiss ass and chew bubble gum right? Matthew is a great guy. Honestly. A bit of a loser, but hell, he doesn't back down from a challenge. I gotta respect that. If he happens to win Tuesday - which he won't - then he'll be more deserving of that title shot than the walking steriod, B4.
Alright, now for the real shit...
For the love of crap he's Matthew Kurtis! You know, the running joke of NAPw? The rambling, babbling freak? Spare me. He may as well not be there, because he's gonna be a non-factor. This match will be over quicker than Bruno's sex drive. Or lack thereof... so I've heard from the ladies.
And Bruno... stay away from me...
Thats what I think of my competition at LTS, they are trash. They are merely obstacles, and weak ones at that. I am a man of my word, and I guarantee you that I will be leaving LTS as the first Carolinas Champion, the rest of you need to get the silly idea out of your head that you even have a REMOTE chance of beating me.
((OOC Notes: almost didnt make and just fixed some stuff))
