Leland Conrad, Attorney at Law. And "The Scottish Wrecking Machine" Al Thoes. Going through a furious training regimen. A picture of Ryan Kingston, his face disfigured with a mustache, devil horns, blacked out teeth, etc, adorns the wall. But the focus isn't on the training. The camera pans over to "The Irish Adonis" Bobby O'Brady.
Am I buying everything Leland is selling right now? No. As much as I want to help right a wrong, that's not why I asked for this match. As much as I want the fans to be on my side, that's not the sole reason either.
Since Al and I got suspended from the NAPW, we had to sit back and watch as teams we beat soundly in the past stepped up and made names for themselves, while we were stuck looking for a way back in. Then along came REBEL. A new beginning. Only the fans here had no clue who we were, and booed us accordingly. Last time, we thought we had earned some respect, and the boos were even louder. And it took us off our game. And we blew our shot at being the first REBEL Tag team champions. So we went to the drawing board and came up with a plan. Make some challenges. A wee bit of noise. Do something that people would have to stand up and take notice. And here we are. Al and Leland are training to fight a lawyer. And I'm going up against a bitter man, who holds victories over me. Whose every word is raising doubts in my head. About my tag team. My partner. The fans. He's saying awful things. And the sad part is:
Part of me agrees with Kyle Roberts.
And that's why I have to beat him Tuesday night. I have to take him down cleanly center ring. Because if I don't, I'll have new doubts about myself, which'll compound the old ones. And I may start doing things that'll change the course of REBEL's young life.
And I don't think anybody wants that, do they?
Conrad: (calling from off camera) Bobby! Come on! We need some focus here!
O'Brady: Focus. Got it...
O'Brady walks off as we fade to black.
