The camera fades in to reveal an office desk, it then pans up to show Murcielago sitting at said desk, again without a text book, only himself and his paper. It seems as if we are in line to receive another history lesson from Murcielago. He sits there writing something down on a legal pad. He finishes his sentence and marks the period on his page and begins speaking.
Murcielago: The Six Day War, yes this war lasted for a mere six days. This war was fought between seven nations, Israel, and its opposition was seven members of the Arab League. The nations that opposed Israel were Egypt, Jordan, and Syria with Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Algeria sending troops and weapons to their front. The Israelis suspected an attack from Egypt was imminent so in order to prevent this the IAF launched Operation Focus, or the Sinai Air strike, on June 5, 1967. This bombing campaign destroyed the Egyptian air force which was by far one of the most advanced in the Middle East at that time.
The war was one that did not last very long, the Arab nations could have pressed on and continued the war but due to their capitals being threatened and because the IDF occupied several territories and because these nations lost several territories.
Though a very short war this war was one that was very dramatic. The deaths during this war were dramatic as well, with the Arab nations losing 21,000 men as opposed to the IDF losing roughly 800 men. The Israeli efficiency during this war proved that they were a very strong military force and they have continued to be a strong military force since then. From this war Israel gained much land. They gained Sinai and the Gaza Strip from Egypt, East Jerusalem and the West Bank from Jordan and the Golan Heights from Syria.
Here is an interesting fact, since the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948 there has been several wars and the Israelis came out of each war victorious.
Now let me get to my point. This match is going to be like the Six Day War, I have 5 opponents in this match, though each person is going to be fighting against each other, you 5 are going to have to team up to just attempt to take me out of this match. I am the IDF, you 5 are those who were apart of the Arab League, this match is the Six Day War. It is going to be short and sweet and I am going to not only come out victorious but also with the hardware, meaning that nice Carolinas Championship belt.
I will be the last man standing after this match is over, and the last man standing leaves, turns out the lights, and closes the door behind him. As a great man would say, "Good night and good luck" to my opponents, because you are all going to need it when you face me in this TLC match for the Carolinas title.
Murcielago begins to write on his legal pad again and the scene fades out.
