Ravager sits against a wall. He is dressed for his match, but there's still time yet. He has his eyes closed, his earphones on, and he's listening to some tunes. He doesn't say anything. However these words scroll across the screen.
How I love these calm little moments before the storm. Without them? Who knows what I might do?
I may throw in that extra punch that smashes the cartilage in your nose.
That extra little kick to the kidneys even after the ref says "enough is enough".
One more head butt when my opponent had enough two head butts ago.
Having to fight within the confines of the rules is a challenge. One I've failed at many times. But more often than not, as my NAPW title will attest, I've succeeded.
So what happens when there are no DQ's? Where the rules are... relaxed?
A smile creeps across Ravager's face.
There'll be no need for the pre match music. And no reason to hold back. People thought I was nasty and humorless before?
They haven't seen anything yet.
