04/17/2007 - "THE LAST RESORT"
Edmonton, AB
FOR THE FIRST TIME
NAPW TITLE vs PURE HONOR TITLE
Ravager vs Chris Casino
A match over one year in the making. Chris Casino: "The Future." The only Grand Slam champion in NAPW history. The longest reigning Pure Honor champion. Ravager: The Shooter. The Last Resort. The reigning and dominant NAPW Champion.
They have been across the ring from one another only in tag team matches, but never have they truly gone at it. April 17th: Everything Changes. Chris Casino will defend the PURE HONOR champions against Ravager's NAPW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. At the end of the night, there will only be ONE CHAMPION --- AS THE PURE AND NAPW TITLES WILL BECOME UNIFIED.
And just to make sure there is a winner... if either man is DQed or counted out, the match WILL BE RESTARTED. In this, one of the biggest matches in NAPW history, THERE MUST BE A WINNER.
What else is left to say? For the first time ever, Chris Casino vs Ravager. April 17th. Title Unification Match.
WINNER TAKE ALL.
PROVINCIAL TITLE
"LDK" Lloyd Rees (c) vs "The Show" Chad Kurtis
Just one month ago, the TV Title and Provincial Title were unified in a **** four-corner ladder match. The final two men in that contest were indeed LDK Lloyd Rees and "The Show" Chad Kurtis. The PTPer, the Last Action! Hero, Chad Kurtis will indeed get a shot at the unified Provincial Title he came so close to holding. Of course, LDK loves his bling, and he won't let it get away from him so easily. His precious...
KRENSHOV vs Fatso Sazuki
Things seem tense in the Untouchables camp. At Sole Survivor, KRENSHOV was screwed over twice by his stablemates. First by Jay O'Brien taking the pinfall in the tag title match... and then by Chris Casino, who attempted to eliminate a distracted Krenshov in the Sole Survivor match! Krenshov instead eliminated Casino, but the distraction allowed eight other wrestlers to toss the dominating Colossus.
So on April 17th, Krenshov will take on NAPW newcomer Fatso Sazuki, a man who REQUESTED his first match be against Krenshov. Is Fatso Sazuki insane? Does a duck swim? KRENSHOV POWER.
FOUR-CORNER SURVIVAL
Simply Beautiful vs Sebastien Martyr vs The Beast vs "The Ego Buster" Dan Ryan
Talk about star power. At SSII, Martyr and SB were the final two men in the ring, Martyr even thinking he had the match won until SB skinned the cat back in. They will be joined by another man who had a huge night at Sole Survivor. The Beast finally got his vengeance on Stylin' Kyle Roberts, pinning him in the center of the ring.
The wild-card in this match is professional wrestling star "The Ego Buster" Dan Ryan, making a one-time-only appearance in NAPW. The current A1E World and Tag Team champion and much decorated wrestling champion is not entirely unfamiliar to NAPW fans: he holds a win over Patrick Bickle in TEAM events.
Whatever the result may be, this is sure to be one hell of a contest. Four men. Not one wants to lose... but somebody will be pinned or made to submit.
SUPERSTAR RULES
Tommy Deathrow vs David Banks
Deathrow and Banks will meet one week after this, but with the TAG TITLES ON THE LINE with their respective partners. David Banks returns to the ring, but it's in a SUPERSTAR rules match against the toughest son of a bitch in New Alberta Pro Wrestling. Deathrow has lost two straight Superstar rules matches, but is riding high after a successful tag title defense at SSII... he's going to be fired up for this one against "The Chairman."
Stone Zellor vs "The Angry American" Matthew Kurtis
Stone Zellor will step into singles action against one of the largest men on the NAPW roster, Matthew Kurtis. This is a big opportunity for both men, a win here could lead to a Provincial Title shot. Will the DYNAMITE Stone Z be able to pimp-acize his way into victory over "The Angry American?"
Newfy Jack vs Kevin Kodiak
Two men, each representing a different side of the country. Newfy Jack, from the Rock and the cod fishing industry. Kevin Kodiak, the British Columbia mountain lumberjack. Each man is looking for a shot at gold in NAPW and more prestige, they will no doubt go at it tooth and nail.
Van Garde vs Dez Carter
Newcomer Van Garde will face a stiff challenge when he challenges the returning Dez Carter, a man who lasted for almost one hour in the Sole Survivor match. Carter has returned with a new arsenal of moves and a new mindset, and he'll be looking for a big "W" in his first singles match back. It could be a show-stealer!
TRIPLE-THREAT
Diablo vs "The Career Killer" Jack Phoenix vs Donovan Astros Three newcomers, one winner. Diablo, Jake Phoenix and Donovan Astros will all be looking to put the established grapplers of NAPW on notice, and they have the opportunity to do that April 17th. What can NAPW fans expect to see from these three men? Only one way to find out is to buy a ticket and show up at the Polish Hall!
Roleplay period begins: Tuesday, April 10, 6 pm MST / 9 pm EST
