We see Ravager. He is watching a tape of Static's matches.
You know, Static, the more I watch your matches, the more I realize what a phenominal talent you are. Your Lucha Libre style, which you've so successfully melded with American hardcore wrestling. You're moves are fluid, your maneuvers absolutely devastating. Our match on Monday will be a true test of my mettle as a champion.
And of course, everyone is asking me "What about Lobo?" Well, Lobo is a fierce competitor. He proved it on Thursday Night. Hey, if it wasn't for me, he might have been the number one contender for my title.
And that's the point. If it wasn't for ME. I have shaped my destiny since arriving in NAPW. I won the Provincial Title in my first match. On my own. 1 - 2 - 3. No outside interference. No controversy. Just a decisive pinfall victory. My first challenger? Well, I thought long and hard about who I wanted to face. An Olympic athlete, or a hardcore luchadore? In the end, I chose you Static. Not because I fear Lobo. Let me make that clear. I DO NOT FEAR LOBO. I was merely insulted that this man would hire me to do his dirty work, and decided that he would have to earn his way to the title. Now he wants to have an open challenge submission match? More power to you Lobo. I'm busy, but I'm sure there's someone who'll take you on. As a matter of fact, I'd be willing to give a title shot to the man who could beat you in a submission match. Anyone who could best an Olympic athlete is worthy of my notice.
New and Improved D-X? Calgary Connection? Business. I don't want anything more to do with them. I saw a chance to play mind games with my competitors so I took it. It fit my plans to get involved the one time, but only the one time. You boys can pound the hell out of each other for all I care, just leave me out of it. I'm a Singles champion, not a Tag Team contender... at least not right now. Who knows what the future might bring.
So Static. I hope you're ready Monday Night. I hope you remember what I did to you Thursday. I hope you're angry. I hope you channel all your rage towards me. Because I'll be ready for you. I look forward to fighting you. I look forward to beating you. Centre of the ring.
1 - 2 - 3. On my own. Clean pin. No controversy. No Doubts. Just one more obstacle cleared on my path to the top of this company. Now if you'll excuse me. I have more tapes to watch.
