right upside the face of Graham, who looks half-shocked. Crowd chants "YOU GOT BITCH SLAPPED" as Stone half-dances around the ring, quite happy with his efforts. Clint yells from the apron to stay focused. Back to the tie-up, this time Stone gets the knee-lift to win, into a short clothesline. Quick cover only gets one and a half. Stone slaps on a rear chin lock and yells "I GOT SKILLS, DAMMIT." He can't keep Graham down for long, though, and Graham starts throwing elbows into the mid-section. The 12th rule of wrestling states that three elbows will free you from any rest hold, and it's true today on TNF. Graham breaks free and hits the ropes, Stone tries a back body drop, Graham instead does a spin and back flip off of Stone's back, landing on his feet behind the man! Leap up --- spinaround on the shoulders --- frankensteiner, baby! Stone skids across the ring and reaches up to tag in his 273 pound half-brother Clint. On the other corner, "The Hardcore Disciple" Billy Mulcahy wants in against the big man. Graham walks over and slaps his older partner's hand. In steps the big biker against the afroed Clint. Shake of hands between Clint & Mulcahy, nice show of sportsmanship. Two bulls lock-up, trying to overpower the other man. Clint seems to have control, forcing Billy back, Mulcahy with a roar starts to shove Clint back. This is a very old school, Dave Finlay style lock-up. They continue to fight over it, neither man willing to back down, neither man allowing himself to be backed into the corner. From one side of the ring to the other they fight until finally they're back in the center of the ring... and they mutually break the hold. Crowd applauds, who says big man style can't be great?
That power exchange was a stalemate, but now Mulcahy has one hand rasied up, fingers outstretched. He wants a test of strength. Papa Z looks on from the outside as Clint engages in a greco-roman knucklelock with Mulcahy. They lock their other hands together and then SHOVE. Shoulder to shoulder, faces showing the strain of trying to overpower the other. This is an equal match in strength alright. Mulcahy seems to be winning though! He's beginning to bend Clint over... Wow. The top of Clint's fro is touching the canvas, he's bridged over quite far... but wait a minute! Clint with a surge of strength! He's pushing his way back up... and now he's got Mulcahy on the defensive! And Mulcahy low to the canvas, Clint sweeps the legs out. It's a cover for one, two, the Disciple powers out. Clint with a scoop slam, elbow drop, that misses, Mulcahy is up! He's throwing Bionic elbows into the top of Clint's head! He's from Minnesota, dammit, he knows his NWA. Clint sent to the ropes, Mulcahy grabs an arm and whips his man across the ring. Mulcahy starts running the opposite ropes! Criss-cross in the middle of the ring! Another criss-cross! Third rebound and --- it's CLINT ZELLOR with a thunderous shoulderblock taking his man down. Mulcahy pops up and fires a right, Clint returns in kind! HOSS HOSS HOSS --- er, sorry. It's bustin' loose in Tulsa... no... Slobberknocker! Alright, I'm out of cliches for the moment. Clint has the advantage, he hooks a hammerlock and tags in brother Stone. Clint uses the hammerlock to lift up Billy for an impressive backbreaker! He steps out of the way for Stone to slingshot into the ring, dropping a leg across Billy's throat! Cover gets two. Each team is looking for an opportunity to wrestle for the NAPW tag team titles, not to mention raise their stock. Stone Zellor driving knees into Mulcahy's forehead and knees, Mulcahy opens up with a huge right hand that staggers Stone --- Enziguri! That catches Mulcahy out of nowhere, the big man is staggered, Stone with a discus clothesline --- CAUGHT! Mulcahy with a Rock-Bottom like slam. That floors Stone, Mulcahy tags out. Graham rushes the ring with some wild energy... he sends Stone into the corner! Catches the man coming out with a monkey flip! Stone gets up --- and takes dropkick to the face! He's down and in perfect position for Graham to go up top, Leap Of Faith comin' up, but Stone shakes the top rope to crotch Graham on top. Vienna Boys Choir, here we come!
Stone goes up top now after getting the advantage with that shortcut. Looks like he's going to try a top-rope move, superplex? Graham with a few shots to prevent it. He knocks Stone off the top, then stands up! Missile dropkick is BLOCKED with a dropkick from Stone, catching Graham right in the mid-section MID-AIR. Ye Gods. Stone scrambles for a cover, one, two, only two. Stone argues the count with the ref before front-face locking Graham. He keeps his body between Graham and the Christian Soldier corner, tagging in Clint. Clint goes behind Graham... back suplex! Stone gets there for a neckbreaker, oh my goodness. Graham could be out. Clint covers for one, two, th--- kick out! There's tons of heart in this kid. Clint has the smaller man, shot to the ropes, caught for a Samoan Drop. One, two, Mulcahy makes a save. He quickly goes back to his corner without fuss, but his partner's in trouble now. Clint with a powerslam, then tags Stone back in. Stone comes into the ring and stomps on Stone, drawing a look from his brother. Graham lifted to his feet, only to be knocked down with a jumping Mule Kick straight to the chest. Lazy cover gets only two. Clint yelling at his brother, "What was that?" Trouble between the Cowboys? Well, if there is, they're still in control of this one. Stone with Pimp Slap: The Sequel --- Graham blocks it and fires a right hand! Another one! Another! He's gaining momentum when Stone rakes the eyes to cut it off. Crowd is surprised by that one... a few boos are heard. Stone then yells out "IT'S SLAMMY TIME!" He double-underhooks the arms, but Graham with a quick struggle gets free! He runs the ropes, Zellor with a double hand launch --- Graham counters in mid-air with a Tornado DDT! Holy Toledo, how'd he do that? Both men are down, Graham needs a tag... Stone is going... BILLY MULCAHY IS TAGGED IN! He levels Stone with a LARIAT! Stone ends up head-over-heels in his corner, tags in Clint. Clint rushes Mulcahy but instead gets caught with a SNAP powerslam, Samoa Joe style! One, two, kick-out. Mulcahy gets a toe-kick, standing head-scissors, it's time for the Bible Thumber, but Stone Zellor comes flying in with a take-down clothesline on Mulcahy. Stone stands up, quite pleased, but when he turns around he gets nailed by a missile dropkick from an incoming Graham! Stone ends up on the outside and GRAHAM COMES FLYING --- NO! STONE MOVED! JT Graham crashed and burn in a daredevil move, crashing into the guardrail! Meanwhile in the ring, Mulcahy is sent to the ropes by Clint Zellor... but he comes off with the AXE BOMBER LARIAT! The referee is checking on the condition of JT Graham as Mulcahy signals once more for the Bible Thumper LOW BLOW. What the crap? Stone Zellor just caught Mulcahy in the family jewels. Clint didn't even see it. Stone rolls out of the ring, Papa Z coming towards him. But in the ring! Clint and Mulcahy are both recovering themselves... and before you can say "Arn Anderson", Mulcahy is on the receiving end of one helluva Twirl-E-Go-Round 360 spinebuster! The cover gets one, two, three!
The Midnight Cowboys advance in the tournament... but the real story here is the actions of Stone Zellor. He's been saying all week that he's got skills, even that he could be a big singles star on his own... and his actions here tonight gave the Cowboys the win. What will Papa Z and Clint have to say about that?
"THE COLOSSAL" KENNY KRENSHOV vs CHRIS RUSHMORE
"The Colossal" Kenny Krenshov enters first. The returning monster is now the "muscle" for Commissioner Joseph Winchell, who orchestrated Krenshov's legal return to Canada. Out from the crowd, kendo stick in hand! He stiffs it over Krenshov's back and shoulders. WHAP WHAP WHAP. Red welts raising on Krenshov's skin... referee Morgan Smythe calls for the bell to start the match. Rushmore tosses the kendo stick away lest he get DQed, but damn he made his point. He boots Krenshov in the junk, draws a warning, but first he nails a HUGE DDT. That's gotta be all, one, two... oh dear. Krenshov kicks out by literally pressing Rushmore halfway across the ring. Rushmore quickly up, but so is a seething Krenshov BOOT. Holy crap, Rushmore was absolutely demolished by the running size 18 of Kenny Krenshov! What a sick, sick kick to the face that was. A burst of energy from Chris Rushmore, he's firing rights and lefts, there's some wild energy behind those, he's got Krenshov on the ropes... Rushmore rebounds for some speed and KRENSHOV LARIATOOOOO. Krenshov spun Rushmore around 360 degrees with a sudden lariat. Three-hundred and sixty-eight pounds behind that son of a bitch. Two forearm shots to the chest follow, and James is off the ropes with crossbody, but Kurtis with a catch! Backbreaker on James, and he gets dropped onto the mat. Now it's Kurtis off the ropes, and he drops a big leg across the head of the TV Champ, with all of his three hundred-plus pounds behind it. Kurtis is looking good in his biggest NAPW match to date.
James gets to his knees, and Kurtis looks to pull him up. Jame shas none of that though, firing away at the big man's midsection. One, two, three shots from James, but a club to the back of the neck quells that comeback. Until - LOW BLOW! It looks like the Royal Foundation is still influencing the TV Champ, and the crowd doesn't like it one bit! James gets back up, and sweeps Kurtis to the mat - DOUBLE KNEE MOONSAULT! James nips up, he's on fire now! Standing Shooting Star Press! He jumps to the top rope, he's perched. FLYING LARIAT! He covers! ONE...TWO...NOT THREE! Now it's Kurtis off the ropes, and he drops a big leg across the head of the TV Champ, with all of his three hundred-plus pounds behind it. Kurtis with a pick-up now, and he scoop slams James to the mat. He goes this time for a jumping elbow, but no ones home! James SPRINGS up, and hits a dropsault to brush the big man back against the ropes! James gets back up quickly, and jumps OVER the top rope, landing on the apron but quickly jumping up and heel kicking Kurtis to the back of the head, sending him to the mat! A nice round of applause from the crowd for that one. James slingshots over, and hits a rolling senton! He covers, but barely gets two. And now the big man is up. Knee to the gut by Kurtis, followed by a shortarm - pulls him in for the SPINEBUSTER! He nailed it! The crowd pops, and Kurtis picks James up, way over his head - another scoop slam and James bounces off the mat, grabbing at the small of his back.
Both men get back to their feet, and James runs at Kurtis only to slide beneath him - the Angry American turns around, and sidesteps a wheel kick! James rolls along the mat and hops up - and gets CRUSHED with a CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL! The crowd pops for the big power move, and Matthew Kurtis is calling for the end! We're gonna have a new Television Champion!
But wait, here comes Kurt Castle! He charges down to ringside, and gets into Kurtis' peripheral vision! "This is my match, get the hell outta here!" Castle just laughs at Kurtis, and tells him to turn around! TOO LATE! JAMES EFFECT ON A THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN POUND MATTHEW KURTIS! The cover for one, two, THREE! Jeff James retains the title... He quickly heads back to the locker room with Saki and the belt.
In the ring, Kurtis is just getting to his feet, and Lyndsey is consoling him. Castle yells some disparaging remarks, and Kurtis moves to assault Castle, who just laughs again and heads for the exit. Lyndsey tells Matthew just to wait till Tuesday Night Fights where he'll meet Castle one on one!
Tune in Tuesday night to see that match, as well as the six man tag and the Tag Team Title Main Event featuring the top two tag teams in the NAPW, The New and Improved DX defending their titles against The Celtic Assassins!
Goodnight everybody!
