Saw it at West Edmonton Mall with Dave C. (aka North T. Gunderson). A few thoughts about a surprisingly decent show:
1. The fans at Silver City are still the Creepiest Mother (BLEEP)ers to walk the Earth.
2. Carlito should not be jobbing to Ric Flair. they had a great match though.
3. I was shocked by Lashley squashing everyone. great swerve at the end to keep the title on MacMahon. Seriously, this makes for a hot feud, and the fans CARE about Lashley winning now.
4. CM Punk vs Elijah Burke had some great story telling. Good work from both men, and there can (hopefully) be no doubt that CM Punk is worthy of bigger things.
5. Anyone else really enjoying Cade and Murdoch lately? I hated them when they began, but now that they've had time to work on stuff (like wrestling and character) they seemed to have gelled, and they're putting on great matches with the Hardy's.
6. JBL as an announcer rules.
7. Shawn Michaels fighting back from concussion has been done before. It was better before the Internet ruined wrestling angles for everyone, and you had to wonder how serious it was.
8. I can't believe Edge vs Batista came so early in the card.
9. I can't believe some of these Divas still have a job. Or that they get more PPV time than London and Kendrick, Deuce and Domino, Finlay, Regal and Taylor, RVD, Santino Marella, Chris Masters, etc...
10. Benoit vs MVP was a good match, even if the result bugs me.
11. Khali's foot was on the rope! HE CAN CLEARLY BE SEEN KICKING THE ROPES! JOHN CENA'S WIN IS A SHAM! A SHAM I TELL YOU!! Also, the match did not suck like I thought it would. I won't put it up there with Joe vs Punk or Savage vs Steamboat, but I don't feel angry for losing time from my life.
