For me, Ryan and Hussey... we work in the restaurant business. Tomorrow is the WORSE DAY EVER! MOTHER'S DAY! Thoughts and prayers for the brave souls who cook, serve and clean up after the mothers that we all love. Anyone else going through hell tomorrow because of this holiday?

After 9 months of hell at a McDonald's, I vowed to never work in food service again.
You're brave souls, all of you.

Back in my time as a server, I never had to work a Mother's Day. I am thankful for this.
Granted, New Year's Eve was pretty bad.
Here's hoping that you get customers who actually know how to behave at a restaurant.

McDonald's and waiting at a decently nice restaurant are quite a bit different... I sure make a lot more than I would fixing up quarter-pounders. I actually like serving... but boy, mother's day is insane and sucky.

Godspeed, gentlemen. I'm doing my part by making my mom dinner instead of taking her out somewhere. But I know it's not enough. Good luck, brave restaurant employees.

My folks and I don't usually go out for Mothers' or Fathers' Day, preferring to have the other and myself cook for them.
That said, best of luck today. I used to do Chow and Bow, the lowest of the performing arts, and it was hell. I feel your pain.

Chow and Bow? Is that dinner theatre... or worse?
Dammit. I was On Call this morning. It's gray and miserable, no patio will be open, but... dammit. Looks like a 12 hour day. bleh. Happy place! Find my happy place!
