I got both of my East picks right and both of my West picks wrong. Yeesh. This time my picks are simply based on what I WANT to happen.

Detroit/Anaheim

I hate Anaheim and just moderately don't like Detroit. I don't want either team to get the cup, but I don't want Anaheim anywhere nearer the cup then they are now.

Wings in 7

Buffalo/Ottawa

Really tough series, probably will be exciting. I'm pulling for Buffalo to win the series and the Stanley Cup though.

Eastern Conference: Buffalo (1) vs. Ottawa (4)

Sens in six. They want it more. Buffalo's good, but Ottawa's got something to prove. If the Sabres don't smarten up and actually play a full game of hockey, the Senators will walk all over them. Whatever the result, it's gonna get messy.

Western Conference: Detroit (1) vs. Anaheim (2)

Detroit took San Jose and just spanked them at the end of the series. Anaheim? Well, they're damn good. Can I really choose here?

With my heart, I pick:

Detroit over Anaheim

Ottawa over Buffalo

But in all reality I think Anaheim will win their round (even if I hate them enough to root for the Red Wings). Buffalo/ Ottawa could go either way. I want a Canadian team to win, but Buffalo has just as many Canadians as Ottawa does. I think Buffalo deserves it more. But at this point, anyone but Anaheim.
