Hey guys, little update for you'z: I've got one week before my final University deadline, after which I hope to be back in action at some point... ... but for now, I really need a little help, if you guys have got the knowhow. I'm designing a website, and I need to know two things: 1) I'm creating a "frames" page, like the NAPW home site. How do I remove the actual "frame" - you know, the big thick lines that divide everything up? 2) I'm looking for a VERY basic "banking" system - What I want is to put a box in one of the frames that displays a number. As you go from page-to-page in the main frame, I want the number to go up and down dependant on what page has been clicked. I hope that makes sense. I'm hoping I can add a couple of lines of code into the page so that it alters the displayed number (for example, "+1" or "-1"). Then, at the end of the story, depending on how high the number is, you see if you've done enough... I know the first is somewhat simpler than the second, but if you guys could help me out on EITHER count, I'd be extremely grateful. Oh yeah, and since I'm working with deadlines, you are too: You've got til sunday. Cheers guys

well NAPW doesn't have big thick lines. I know even on a windows compy. But I remember somewhere in this brain how to do a basic site. You're talking about removing the scroll bar, or the line that appears if you don't want a scroll bar... you can add commands into the frameset=cols (or rows) such as framespacing="0" frameborder="no" border="0" scrolling="no" noresize Obviously scrolling="no" means there will be no scrollbar, and neither should it appear. I dunno. If you're really stuck you could always send me the code and I could poke through it. Note that the NAPW site actually an overcomplicated design scheme. Or even better: go here: www.htmlhelp.com/faq/html/frames.htmlDon't know about your page number thing at all. Also: When the (BLEEP) are you coming back? Geez.

Cheers, Ro, that's a big help - I'll be trying that tomorrow I don't even know if that number thing exists, to be honest, so it might just be a case of surfing the web until I find something vaguely reminiscent. Oh, and I should be back... sometime mid-late May I'd hope!
