OK.. I'm gonna propose something to get feedback on. From the feedback and the response of the two bookers, I'll either let this idea die, or prosper on.

I like roleplaying, and I liked booking... but I can't do both full time. I don't have the patiences to run a fed.

What I want to do is to introduce a cross promotion championship. The bookers don't have to really do anything, but allow me space on their cards to work.

I want to pattern it similar to the X division, and it be classed to the style of wrestling where mat wrestling, high spots, and high impact moves are combined. I also don't want the belt to be fought over by guys who's already main eventing. So no current champions or main event guys. This is a competition based title without storylines.

The second thing is, it would be a two rp deal... and you must cut a traditional wrestling promo in one of the two rps. The rp limit would make defending the belt easier, and number one contender matches easier. I don't want to take away from either fed, but add to them. I am gonna try to see if I can possibly get some TEAM support if I can get support of Brion and Ro. Get some other guys to come in and compete.

I'd be the booker, judge and match writer for them all, unless volunteers float my way. I think it would be good. I'd target June for initial tournament. 8-12- maybe 16 guys if everything goes ok. I'm basically asking for one or two matches a card, and NAPW/REBEL would just have to place them on there. No real work for anyone but me and any volunteers.

I have an intitial 8 guys, who I think have the style that would suit it.

Unfortunately my goals right now are to decrease the number of titles in NAPW, stabilize our roster, keep shows to about 7 matches max, and put focus back on the tag titles. I think there is lots of opportunity within NAPW (I won't speak for Brion) that we don't need some kind of "non-main event" title... It's a neat idea but it conflicts with what I'm trying to do with NAPW right now.

I've seen this very idea tried in a fed I once worked in years ago it despite looking good on paper it turned out to be a huge cluster (BLEEP). Guys from other fed would come in, win the belt then refuse to come back to defend it. Guys winning the belt then vanishing into the void. The list goes on and on.

What I am going to try and do with the REBEL Title is have it defended on other shows (example an ECFW or OPW show) thus giving it that "indie" feel.
