Unfortunately, the cost at the theatre for Mania was almost thirty bucks individually, so I'm not watching it live. According to live recaps though, the show so far is....
Mr. Kennedy wins Money In The Bank
Khali d. Kane
Benoit d. MVP
Undertaker d. Batista NEW WORLD CHAMPION
ECW Originals d. New Breed
Lashley d. Umaga, Vince gets head shaved
Melina Perez d. Ashley Massarro
John Cena d. Shawn Michaels

The ST TRUMP is the new greatest move in wrestling. Now if only he could sell a stunner...

You have to admit Cena had a kick ass intro.
Booker T's little ladder, he stole the show, not Jeff. Hands down.
I marked out on Taker vs Batista.

Just watched Mania. Decent show. Would like to have seen Benoit/MVP go longer, the finish was a bit sudden... same with the eight-man tag. For only eight matches it feels weird that many weren't longer, but hey. Cena/HBK is probably Cena's best match. I enjoyed the opening of it, with HBK being cocky and taking his time. Taker/Batista was a great power match. MITB was fun but definitely eight guys is too many. Punk didn't get much in the way of memorable spots. Interesting take with Matt Hardy. He seemed kind of evil in the match. Sure he hates Edge, but he's convincing his brother to jump on Edge, not doing it himself. Then he threatens Sharmell if Booker doesn't get down! I wonder if this is leading to anything. That said though, kudos for clean finishes all over the place (except Umaga/Lashley but duh, that's supposed to be overbooked - it's a Vince match.) and lots of decent moments and a great effort. TNA needs to realize (again) that you can put on a PPV with great wrestling and storyline ENDERS and it's okay. WWE is much more "wrestling" Than TNA at this point.

My biggest beef with the show was the the segment booking. I mean, who thought that it was a good idea to do the lumberjill match (IMO the worst Women's Match ever) before the main event. And Lashley/Umaga higher on the card than Taker/Batista? Way to put over the World Heavyweight Title, and the Royal Rumber winner. It was booked like the Intercontinental Title. And Undertaker, as the RR winner, should have been in the main event.
Also, Cena just won his, what, third Wrestlemania Main Event in a row? He just ousted Triple H and Hogan for winningest champion ever. God I hate that guy.

Well Scott, they have a history of putting the women's title match on right before the Main Event and after Another Huge Match. It's a cool-down match/bathroom break match. They did it at WMXVIII (between Rock/Hogan and Jericho/Triple H, although hindsight shows that Rock/Hogan should have gone on last due to the crowd being wiped after it) and WMXIX if I am correct.
I think it's a shame that some people were left off the card in favor of Khali and the women, who this year are clearly not on the level of Mickie James vs Trish Stratus. It's not even close to being interesting anymore, the women's division. Again with a 3 hour, 45 minute show, it's also a shame that some matches did not get more time. By the same token the show did not necessarily feel that long. There wasn't all that much filler content in terms of video packages and such. Ah well.

Nah man, it was 18.
I kinda enjoyed the MVP vs Beniot. I wish Beniot had dropped the belt.
Ro, I agree I did see some hint of heel on Matt's part. I hope he turns full heel. Loved him as heel, maybe the Matt facts will return.

Kane Khali was painful to watch because you just knew Kane was doing the job, and you hoped it wouldn't make him look so bad. Yeah, he slammed him - then got pinned with one foot. Kayfabe wise, if Khali can pin Kane with one foot, he could pin someone like, say, Cena with what? A pinky? I think they just do that because it looks awkward if Khali lays down to pin someone lol

Well Khali is clearly a waste of space.
Yeah I think WM18 and 19 both had a triple-threat woman's title match right before the main for a piss break. Even with Trish involved. Heh.

only reason I respect Khali for being in that ring, it's cause he gives the money back to his village. Other then that, man has no skills.

You have to admit Cena had a kick ass intro. Cena's Chicago intro was five times the entrance that Detroit was. Wow. A guy manages to do some street racing on the way into the building. Cena jumps out of the back seat. Oooh.
