It could also be because, depending on what you burn is the color of the flame.. Blue and white indicate that the flame will mess your day the hell up... orange is just pretty.

did you take the pic at night? maybe you used your infrared setting and it showed up like this? I dunno...I've had my digital camera for a year and don't know how half the shit works  |

I took a class on this last semester
Real Photographers actually do use normal cameras still. Digital Camera's are amazing, we can all agree - but in fact a normal film camera is a better quality shot. Well not a normal one, one of those high end crazy ones you see at football games... those lenses are satelites!
the digital camera wasn't high enough quality to catch the reds and yellows in pixel form because they aren't deep enough colours. blues/purples are more easily caught for whatever reason... one reason im not sure why and im not checking my notes. :-)
