At some point yesterday, Jacob's MSN sent me a link that purported to be my profile at improfile.net. Clickin it uploaded some kind of Trojan onto my PC. I assumed I'd wiped it, but it's now since infected Hussey.
If an NAPW contact or anyone else sends you a link to improfile.net, DO NOT CLICK IT.
And if you DO have the Trojan, do what I'm doing, run Spywae Blaster or Spybot. If you don't have those free utilities, Google 'em.
Also, I'm still retired.

I clicked on it. I already have an abundance of Spyware though, so I'll run it/them when I get back to Uni. Back home for the weekend, Ohhhhhhh Yeeeeaaaaah!

"Trojan Warning"... Thought it was advice on a condom. ;D And then I saw it was posted by D!... But anyways, yeah, the little prick slowed down my "high-speed internet". Talk about (BLEEP)ing irony. I ran Norton AntiVirus and found seven of the little bastards. The thing only deleted four of 'em, and the piece o' crap did it automatically. There's no manual way to run the damn thing, so it just ignored three of 'em. And my computer is STILL SLOW, DAMN IT. I think I have spy sweeper, I'll try that later. I don't got a (BLEEP)ing clue how these things work, but I'll trust 'em.

Anyone actually know what virus or trojan this is. I think I got it, and besides Norton and Spysweeper I don't know what to do, or if I even got rid of it.

I think trojan is a type of virus. I read once that it disguises itself as a windows pop-up message. Like those one that appear with a little chime or beep and usually say "OK" or "CANCEL".
edit > Also, it's a brand of condom...

i got one of them shits last year. I had to system restore.
But some how I had gotten all my files back that was cool.
Then I caught it again, I think. I lost everything that time. But I got everything back, and luckly I had made a cd with all of my good beats on it.
