I remember when I was around the age of nine or ten. I remember when I would watch wrestling, everyone looked huge. Like all of them were high caliber wrestlers. Like Scotty 2 Hotty, I used to think he could have a chance over Triple H or Undertaker. Because he was faster then both of them. All he had to do was play smart. I remember I used to get scared of certain wrestlers, like Kane and Undertaker. Because of the way the comentators played them out. I used to scream at my tv "GET UP ROCKIE YOU CAN DO IT!" "NOOOO!" Or get angered at a wrestler when he would turn. I would say "WHY AUSTIN, WHY?"
As you can tell, I was a full blown mark. I felt as if, back then it was more fun than it is now.
Now that I'm a smark. I understand, by looking at a certain wrestler, that he will be a jobber, like Scotty, and the only way he can win against Undertaker or Triple H, its not by playing smart and moving fast, it's by interference. And Kane isn't scary anymore same for Undertaker, because I learned it was just a gimmick. Now I'm able to see that Triple H will beat rock. Just because the way they will put the stipulations. Like "If triple H loses this match he'll never get his title shot ever again." Obviously H has to win, so he will. When a wrestler turns -not counting hymen on van damn- I don't get mad. I understand its for an angle, for the business.
Maybe it's just me, being a Smark isn't as fun as being a Mark.
I miss those days.

When Smackdown had a show in Edmonton, Scott (NAPW staff) and I were at the Mall for a Big Show signing, and we met a lot of other wrestlers in the Mall. It's surprising how big a lot of these guys are. Scotty and Renee Dupree are both quite big, compared to what you see on TV. Johnny Nitro is HUGE. Chris Benoit's arm is about the size of my quad. I know people mock J.R for saying it, but TV does not do a lot of these guys justice.
But yes, it is easy to tell who will be a jobber. Size doesn't hide a lack of wrestling ability or charisma.
