Kyle and Ryan both mentioned how the excessive and inappropriate use of italics could take away from a promo, and in this most recent one you used them more excessively and inappropriately than even. I thought it might be you mocking that suggestion in jest.

If you are talking about the text in red, I intentionally made it in italics for an obvious reason. If not, what are you talking about?
EDIT: I put the red text in italics for the same principle as the scene description text.
EDIT: I actually really tried not to use italics at all in speech. Only where appropriate did I even use italics.

You used italics in 19 separate occasions in dialogue. I am not talking about the red, or the narration in brackets. 19 uses of italics, sometimes more than one word in those places.
I consider that excessive and often not applicable.

19 italics uses out of 31 dialogues. (Yeah, I can count. ;D ) So cut it WAY down, then.

The Second Italic Wars! Jacob tries to cross the Rockies with a pack of pachyderms in an effort to invade Edmonton.

If he's crossing the Rockies, he'd be invading Kamloops.

Fine, Kamloops it is.
Wait, no... cause Rome was pretty far from the Alps; ergo, Edmonton is a viable option.
Ugh, even I want to hit me now.
