Some of you know I've been having severe problems with my computer. Today I found out what's wrong.

Yay! I can get it fixed no cost because it's a manufacturer's problem. Great! Except the part where I take my computer into Mac Station tomorrow and leave it there for the next week or two. I'll be in queue for about 3-5 days and then once the technician confirms the problem, I get to wait for the part in question.

Unfortunately this means that I am going to be without computer for two weeks, possibly more, holding out hope for two. I've tried absolutely everything I could to fix it on my own, nothing working...


I don't want NAPW to go on another break so soon after we're back. I don't want Diego to have to be in charge again like this. So here's what I'm proposing:


Until my computer is back, all results are written in the shorter "Action" format, including TNF. It's not perfect, but it'll save time and energy and make it possible.

I am going to need a list of every person who can match write for the next few shows. I am also going to talk to several people and get them onboard to judge matches. I won't be able to follow the RP board and I'm not about to sit in cafe for two hours or more catching up just to vote... I can't afford it.

I'll hit up a computer cafe then on the night after/morning after RP cut-off, take in all votes, and then send out match assignments. From there all match assignments will come back to me, be edited, and then sent out to Diego or possibly somebody else.


I don't want NAPW to have to close while my computer's in the shop. I don't know how feasible this plan is, but we will have to take steps to make it possible for the show to go on. Ideally I have my computer back before Hostile Hangover...


So... thoughts and ideas. cos let's face it: I won't have a computer at home for two weeks after TNF tomorrow. And that screws us, even if I use a net cafe a bit. I can't match write or follow Rps to cast judges, and I might be over-reaching as it is. Diego, what ar eyou feeling? Bo, you up to learning how to update the NAPW site?

Well Im up for writing matches. The idea sounds good, everyone just needs to work together thats all. But I doubt that'll be a problem. Hopefully you don't have to go too many weeks without the computer.

Solution part one: Rather than teach a bunch of people how to update the site emergency style, NAPW will update from the BOARDS. I've created three new staff-postable-only categories below for results, cards and rankings.

I'm working to not leave Diego in charge AGAIN, he did so much already for this fed... don't expect to see me online that much, but I'm going to try to stay on top of the booking to some extent. We'll see how it works... I'm worried I'll be too out of the loop to book it well. Ah well. Let's get through this show, then one show at a time. It'll only be a couple weeks.
