I want to shout out a huge props to Diego for running the ship while I was getting settled into married life and on vacation and such. I've been helping out here and there, but the man has more or less rocked it out on his own. Thanks to everybody who helped him out, it's been great. Now he can relax a bit...
BECAUSE I'M BACK IN CHARGE. MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
(Hmm... maybe I should have kept the evil laughter inside?)
So...!
New things: the revamped rules page, READ IT LOVE IT.
The RP period is extended by one day. People were feeling like they didn't have quite enough time to really RP that hard for each show. If people aren't using that extra early day, I may change it back to the classic RP period... I like to put the TNF card up AFTER the Action! results, so that people who wrestle Action! can be put on TNF, and the TNF card can stem from events on Action!. It's a tougher sell right now to have a wrestler booked for Action! then put on TNF, before his Action! match is done. So we'll see.
I'll be contacting any people who have or could match writer for me to get a stable roster. If you have NOT written a match for an NAPW show and would like the shot, let me know.
I like the challenges coming. I'm going to be tough on people who don't respond to challenges. If you don't decline a challenge by the second day of the RP period (for whatever show the challenge was made for), then I will book the match regardless. I don't want the wrestler taking the initiative to be punished for his opponents slackiness. Yep.
Lots of new people, and some great RPers coming out of it. I'm looking forward to the next few months.
Cheers!

couple questions
is it the challengers responsability to contact the challengee via PM, IM, or e-mail to let him know that he has been challenged. I try and read other peoples rps as much as I can, but I don't always have time to read everyones and might miss a challenge if I don't know about it in advance.
second question do challengees have to be responded to in character, my reasoning for this question is it doesn't do much for a characters reputation to deny a challenge unless he has some sort of a i'm better than u attitude to his gimmick, though there are situations where characters can't agree to a challenge because they have other things planned for storylines running which they can't give away when denying the challenge, so let's say D! challenged me for next TNF after this one, and I already know there is something planned for Kidd for that day How do I go aobut denying the challenge.

Good questions.
Diego started a trend I think we're all going to keep up with, which is that on the next show listing, he's put "Juice challenges Mr. Slick! Will he accept?" So when the card initially goes up, it's double-clear. You're right it's not always easy to keep up on EVERY RP.
A wrestler making a challenge may or may not PM or email a guy saying it. I would recommend putting "KIDD READ" in the subject line of a challenge RP. We don't need to go nuts here...
As far as the in character stuff, there's a point to that. A cocky heel has it easy - YOU'RE NOT ON MY LEVEL etc etc. Some wrestlers wouldn't really back down from a challenge. Obviously if you've already been booked in one match you can say "sorry man, my dance card's full." But if there's an angle happening, then we would probably be better off to just down-low it. I can let the challenger know it won't happen off the record rather than force the challengee to spoil a surprise or something.
The system isn't perfect, and probably never will be since we're dealin' with people. Again, we had a situation where the person who was challenged didn't respond until there were two days left in the RP period, and that's tough on everybody involved, so I'm going to only wait so long for challenges to be accepted/declined before making a decision... I don't want to stifle creativity but I also have a fed to book. =D

Another thought as well. When a card for Action! or TNF goes up, it's basically set and I'm not going to add any more matches. Challenges really need to be made before the card goes up, which is the afternoon before RP period. I'll probably start booking one LESS match that I want on it and wait for a late challenge or something...anyhoo.
