DUPREE CUP: All NAPW Team members read

Gentlemen. In theory the match ups will be announced tomorrow, with the rp period beginning on the 18th. We need to talk. We all have MSN, but that doesn't mean we're always on at the same time. And communicating through pm is not always effective. Basically we need to decide how we're going to do this. I've been in two TEAM events. The first event had three rounds, with one rp allowed for each round. The second had no rp limit (though there was a stacking rule, which is explained on the fw board). I don't know what kind of system they'll have in place this time, but any strategy we can come up with will be good. Together we are as good if not better than any of our opponents. But if we don't get a team strategy, we're lost.

So. Team NAPW. Are you ready to kick a little ass? Pm me back with a schedule of when you're usually on MSN, and we'll see if we can have a meeting of the minds.

Here's how it's going to work.

It's World Cup style in that there will be groups of four teams. Each team goes head to head with each other team in their group once. Each meet between a feds will contain three matches; a singles match, a tag match and a singles gimmick match. SO let's say that NAPW were to go up against A1E one week. The three matches would be Big Dog vs. Rex Caliber in the regular singles match, Ravager vs. Andrew Gilkison in a Wheel of Death stipulated match in the gimmick match and Patrick Bickle and Kyle Roberts vs. James Irish and Troy Douglas in the tag match. If you win two or three matches in a meet, you win the meet. There's no RP limit in any of the individual matches, although all stacking rules apply.

Then, after each team plays each other within their groups, the top two from each of the three groups are taken and we then crown the winner in a single elimination tournament.

Holzerman informed via pm the alternate situation, because was curious. Here's what I understand. I'm not sure how long the tourney will run, but with the world cup style for the opening round, I'm thinking between 1-2 months. If in the tournament Rex for example purposes can't go... Bruce or Rees subs in for that match. So Rees and Bruce will be both very useful necessities to have through out, for that "what if" situation. Internet loss, personal problems, or work schedules could all rear it's ugly head. With that said, I feel very good about our team. Both with the consistency of my three partners, and the very awesome back ups, we got this shit nailed.
