So here's the deal:
Bo wrote the Provincial Title match, and did a darn fine job.
Devin lost his match-writing virginity and handled the TV match. I think he had a great first time, and I'm glad he trusted me enough to try it.
Allan wrote the "Tag" Title match, and also wrote the backstage weapons segment. He's still my favourite writing collaborator after all these years, and him doing his assignments as quick and good as he did reminds me why.
Tim and Alex put out the FIRST Static / Bickle segment. Pure poetry that's flamin' hard to replicate. I'm looking forward to see these guys go at it after the break.
Jago wrote his first Pure Honour match and nailed it, too.
Short and sweet promo from Kidd's handler, especially compared to my overwrought work. If you don't take his open challenge, you're a dork.
I wrote the rest, for which I will say this: this is the only time I've ever written one of my own characters in a full match, and you know what? I don't advise it. Writing a D! match for me is like drinking my own urine; it's annoying to find yourself secretly rooting for the other guy, too. I hope you find the Main Event was worth the wait.
Other site updates will be done tomorrow, and we'll even have a mostly-to-completely filled card for August 29th up for Friday--coincidentally, right before Ryan's wedding. If you want to make the return dates for TNF and Action!, well, set some challenges up by then.
