So this is where the train stops for Billy Kryenik. Well sort of, not entirely.
I’m writing this to announce my retirement from active competition. It was a good run and I am glad to have gotten to know most of you on an ooc level. But with my schedule throughout the summer… and then heading into College, I need to take a long break.
I feel burnt out. Ever get that way? I’ve been burnt out for a while. Seems working doubles, dealing with family issues, and living a life has taken most of my time away from writing roleplays. Too tell you the truth I haven’t liked where my characters been going for a while. Basically it’s because when I over work myself, I lose focus on creative writing and just don’t have the penmanship for it.
It got to the point where I’d take two or three days to piece together a roleplay, only to be disappointed with the outcome after I posted it. It really became apparent that to me, roleplaying was starting to be more of a chore, then it was fun. Which shouldn’t have happened in a great place like this.
But I just don’t have the time to give the Wrestler; Billy Kryenik the proper treatment the character needs.
I’m still going to be around, I have a few part time plans here. Things I’d like to accomplish and work for, but that’s all in the coming future.
I’d like to thank everyone for being extremely friendly and outgoing with one another. Take it from me, I’ve done this over half my life off and on, a federation of people like this doesn’t come along too often. But when it does, we’re all joined together in some odd electronic family type of way. I love that.
Now to the people who I’ve gotten to know the most;
Tommy: Bitch what? You heard right ma (BLEEP)a, I’m retiring. Long island ice teas and beaches that never end for Kryenik… naw… you know I’ll be kickin around. Doomriders for ever.
Ryan: Upstanding guy. What else can ya say about Nathaniel? You run a tight ship bro, and I thank you for all the opportunities you gave Tommy and I in the early going. Then of course, the TaiPai death match which Tommy and I harassed you about almost since the beginning. You keep pumping out these cards, results and story lines. You have a cerebral passion for this game.
Diego: You influenced me the most my friend. I’d say I know you the most, and by now – with my bitching habits - you know WAY to much about me. Thanks for listening to me, and being non-bias towards issues I’ve had with this place and other people. Maybe I don’t always agree, but for whatever reason you’ve never been wrong. Hah. Thanks bro.
Jago: The man with the Killer Instinct name. He was my favourite in that game for 64, and he’s tied for top spot along with Static and D! as my favourite NAPW superstars. Working with you was great every time. You may kick my ass 50 times over, but I got one on ya… and that’s all I can ask for. Hah.
Troy: KKP? Magic Magic Ninja’s whut?! Oh yeah, I see you everyday.
Tim: Static as world champion? Dream come true man. We only talked a few times, but he’s always been one of my favourites. I’m glad I got to see you win the big strap, you deserve it.
Dev: 4 to 1 brother! 4 to 1! Talk about a ass kickin’. You rocked it this week and you deserve every bit of your victory. You just elevated your game. Keep it up.
The American Boys: Aaron, Kirk, Boston Dave, Brion (RIP), Zack (RIP) – craziest bunch of jerk faces to ever type in a chat room.
Bo: How could i forget you bro? I guess writing this at 4 am makes you forget things. You pushed me to whole new limits at the Canada Cup. I loved workign with you and it was great to see you win the heavyweight title on 2 occassions now. Good work buddy, you're a hard worker and we all love you for it.
Alex: Same deal with Bo. How did i forget Bickle? Man, i was really happy to see you take the win at Epic. You earned it. I hope you get your shot at the heavyweight strap sometime soon. Bickle is a machine!
Everyone else, I bid you adieu.
