Kinda sucked.

Sorry but it did. Sure it had a ton of action but it was light on something I like to call - plot.

Oh yeah and reason.

I dug it (hated to see several main characters die) but it wasn't as good as #2

Dude, that's pretty hard to do. X-Men 2 is, I think, either #3 or #4 on my top comic movies list.

Just got back from seeing Xmen 3.

X2 is one of the best comic movies ever, period.

Xmen: The Last Stand was a great experience. It was too busy, too many loose ends to tie up, but I was caught up in it throughout and thought there was some good character development.

I was thrown by some of the twists and turns. Stuff happening I never expected to happen.

X3 is better than the first, not as good as the second, but is a great geekfest and a fun, thoughful movie that degenerates into an all-out war in the third act. But really, that's fairly fitting... it is the end of a trilogy.

I don't want to spoil it so I'll leave out my detailed favorite moments. Do make sure to stick around til after the credits for awesomeness.

They tried to do too much in too little time. Also, stay through the credits. Major plot point, even though I did yell out "Cop Out" afterwards (Scott and Gibble can verify that I actually did this)

It's hardly a cop-out. They set it up brilliantly, IMHO.
