My apologies to all of you, new and old, for the unfinished show that came up tonight. Diego came through without being asked and helped out with a lot. At last I have the show completed.
I'm disappointed in the happenings of today. Most of the problems that occured are not because anybody tried to stick it to myself and the NAPW. Communication problems for the most part. I am disappointed somewhat that with an extra day of lead time Complete Control ends up being posted in a complete form at a later hour than any other show in our history. We technically did not miss a show today, but.
I hope people can understand the amount of work that goes into my editing of the show and how important it is for me to get matches in at a good time. Also, how important it is that matches are written in wordpad or notepad.
I will have the cards for next week up tomorrow, and we can all move on. The Month From Hell (in storyline terms and OOC) is over. We now have a great wikipedia we can build together, some fantastic new RPers (I particularly am pleased by Uzi, Patrick Bickle, Dez Carter) and other characters coming into their own (Krusty Kid Paul, take a bow). My props to Alex for beginning to develop Diamond and Lobo to a greater extent and showing up big-time for a big-match (It's about time, man). It was good to see Lobo win a big one since being here since day one. I only hope to see more depth, length and quality come into your writing as we go from here.
So, that's that. My disappointment with the day does not allow me to see the good stuff about the supercard, although I can tell Scott & Boston Dave put together a fantastic battle royale and ladder match respectively. I hope it was enjoyed and I hope the next set of story arcs taking us to Epic on June 12 will be as dynamic as the past six weeks without the stress, headache and exhaustion.
My Oilers are in the second round. Such a long, long disappointing day but in the end, there is much to be grateful for. God bless.
