The thing with Christian, is that the crowd got behind him. Like crazy. The crowd would've bought Cena/Christian...BUT. WWE didn't think Christian was over. Yeah. Fine.
So it's great that he was able to take something that got heat but was neglected by WWE. They didn't even bother trademarking Captain Charisma, for god's sake.
I want to see him work with X-Division guys. Christian/Styles, Christian/Daniels, etc...

You sure? I remember Christian talking after he left WWE that he was shocked, it wasn't trademarked, so he snapped it up.

So.
TNA is really not getting Christian.
He FINALLY wrestles on TV as the champion. And looks just outclassed against Shelly in a slow, boring match. He's working WWE style against a guy who can go 10x as fast and insane. Anyways, he wins... and cuts the worst promo on Abyss ever, saying generic threatening things and trying so hard to be intense.
The Christian Cage we all cheered for is a sarcastic jerk. I get what they're trying to do, with Christian and Abyss becoming super, super personal, but by the direction of somebody: Christian has stopped doing what made him popular in the first place. And the two times I can think of that he tried to be witty, he fell on his face ("Nobody wants to see shrek as champion", "I'm filming a documenary, called kick to the head." Which sounds good but was awful and flat).
HOTSHOT Johnny Devine returned though, in a reasonable match. Yay!
Raven is fat and looks awful. Raven vs Larry Z is zzzz.
I don't care about Rick Steiner, although the "Deal or No Deal" segment with sting/Jarrett etc was less painful than it was last week.
So... TNA... is... not much of an alternative at all.
Soon, the RoH DVD buying spree will commence.

And CM Punk will have a large role in the new ECW. Which is good, because I don't think he would do well on RAW or Smackdown.
Also Pres, you may want to check out IWA Mid-South as well as ROH when you get DVD's.
