I have managed to get a copy of the new 10,000 days record by one of the most secretive and mysterious rock bands in public view - TOOL.
After 5 long years after the release of Lateralus, Tool has finally made its anticipated return to the music scene with their latest disc - 10,000 Days
Bringing with it 11 solid ballads for your listening enjoyment. The first single "Vicarious" starts the record off with 7 minutes and 8 seconds of old school Tool that resembles tracks off of their 1996 record, Aenima. The title track to the album - 10,000 Days is probably the most mysterious track on the album. Weighing in at 11 minutes and 15 seconds (being the longest song by 2 seconds) it takes you on a head trip with melancholy slow riffs at the beginning with slow beating drums that leads into an almost orgasmic climax in pure Tool fashion.
10,000 Days is an amazing record and is recommended for any Tool faithful or any rock fan in general.
Track List:
1: Vicarious – 7:08 2: Jambi – 7:30 3: Wings for Mari (Part 1) – 6:13 4: 10,000 Days (Part 2) – 11:15 5: The Pot – 6:24 6: Lipan Conjuring – 1:13 7: Lost Keys - 3:48 8: Rosetta Stoned – 11:13 9: Intention – 7:23 10: Right In Two – 8:57 11: Viginti Tres – 5:02
