I have finally been dragged into it, kicking and screaming, and popped my IPod cherry. Just picked up a brand spankin new 30GB video IPod. Now I am going to lube up and make sweet love to it.
That is all.

*The Caesars - Jerk It Out*
Wind me up... twist me out... start me up and watch me go...
kinda gives it a creepy visiual with a lubed-up Dave making love to his i-pod while listening to that song.

Hey, I love cassette tapes.
But I'm so down with the iPod.

Give me a good ol' MP3-capable discman any day. I never need more than ten hours of music at a time.

Ah, but it's not just AMOUNT of music, but ease of music. Good Lord the iPod is small, lightweight and convenient. A discman, even doing mp3 disc, while riding a bike or walking is still a pain in the ass and doesn't fit neatly in my pocket.

JAGO! OUT OF THE WAY, OLD MAN!! THE NEW GENERATION WOULD LIKE TO GET THROUGH!!! Anyhoo, you're gonna need some help filling 30 Gigs up. May I recommend Download.com? It may not be iTunes where you can download all of the music you've already heard, but this place is safe, free, and completely catch-free. I've discovered a lot of new acts on this site and I've been using it reliably for about a year.

This is the one I've got. Superthin, fits in my pocket or in the handy pouch in my backpack that's specifically made for discmen. I'm sure I'll go hard disk MP3s eventually, but I hates the iPod, and would probably hit an iRiver or Creative first. But I'm thinking that won't be until this one dies.

My IPod came with the computer I got in the last year...but its 4gb, they don't even make them anymore. (BLEEP)in' thing makes deciding what to include and what to leave off so difficult. (who needs a soul when you're a corporate whore?)
And filling 30GB is hard?

Welcome to the 21st century.
Byw you are not alone in 2003, I bought my first answering machine and in 2005, I got my first cell phone, after both items were readily available and being used by other people years before hand.

I need no help in filling the IPod, I'm already way into the 21st century as far as stealing goes. Thanks, though!
