So...yeah, as usual, the "I'm new" preface...
But yeah, just reading through the Monday night show, which was enjoyable, I get into the fight between D-X and Predator. Who is Predator? I don't see him under the roster, and maybe just missed it or something...But what's the story behind all that?

He was out for a couple weeks. Predator's been tearin' up the roster for months. D-X has never crossed paths with him, but really didn't like him. About two-thirds SOLE SURVIVOR a month ago, D-X decided to salvage a bad night by kicking Predator's ass and eliminating him.
IT'S REVENGE TIME.

Boy. Where to start...? Predator started off as a minion of another Superstar, Mirage. "The Nameless One" was trained by Mirage to be a wrestling phenomenon, and then ultimately turned on Mirage when he felt he had to slip out from under Mirage's domineering thumb. Upon defeating Mirage, he donned a silver mask, tricked out a gauntlet, and rechristened himself "The Predator." Fast-forward a bit. Predator was having an on-again, off-again feud with Don Travelli around the time of Sole Survivor. Because of Don's injuries, Predator couldn't have the final, end-all grudge match with him that night, but the Don DID hire The New & Improved D-X to humiliate him in the Main Event 30-man Elimination Match. And sure enough, D-X was able to do just that, costing him the match. Predator never forgave them, but soon afterwards, Predator finally got his grudge match . . . handicapped, versus Travelli and his tag team partner, Karl Van Helden. With a bit of creative cheating, the soon-to-be Duopartite Pact thrashed him so thoroughly that it seemed that he was retired due to injuries. Reports of his death seem to have been premature, however, as he has come back and wants to settle the score with D-X. Click here. And here. And here.BUT NOT HERE.

Diego is a living breathing wiki. Speaking of: Does anybody know how to set up a wikipedia? I want to do a specialty NAPW wiki, much like www.greatoutdoorfight.com or the Homestar wiki...

Shush with your sighing. I've read Wiki stuff, it just seems overwhelming. Eventually I'll get my hands elbow-deep in code and understand it from the inside out, but in that form it confuses me.

And who's character is Predator? Would I be too quick to assume he is controlled by the same person as D!?

If you troll through the archives, Predator, Nightmare and a few others who no longer wrestle are Jacob's characters.
If you're dealing with a 7 foot tall, 350 lb guy with deadlocks? Chances are it's Jacob.

I dunno. Ever notice how you ALWAYS see Nightmare and Caliban in the same room? Or in the same ring? Or having Caliban kill Nightmare's dad?
It seems they trying too hard to show that they're two different guys.
I think they're the same person, but with camera tricks.
