My highly-subjective five:

5. Storm - a plan

Seriously, why? Because it's the first-ever Storm promo that's ever "clicked" for me. Storm's characters are finally fleshed out, it's legitimately funny, plus it incorporates the other, utterly bizarre elements of the feud and makes them work. My jaw dropped and I want to see Storm tear it up now.

4. Celtic Assassins - And Oh What Heights We'll Hit...

Yeah, I like comedy promos. So sue me. And having said that, the Assassins are flat-out consistent and actually getting better each time out.

But that's it for the comedy tag teams, I swear . . .

3. Chris Casino - Rex gets his Cup and makes a HUGE Announcement!!

Once again, hats off to Chris Casino. Think of all the business that's spun off from this one RP. Think of how perfectly all of the characters come across. Second time in a row I'm going to label a Casino RP as "textbook".

2. Krusty Kid Paul - fashion of the poor

An old-school promo feel from an unlikely source. It's a fun piece of writing that doesn't focus on a match or an opponent, but stands on its own and is pretty entertaining.

Who doesn't love this promo?

At first I thought Stein would be a pretty limited gimmick, and so far, I'm completely wrong. Not only is there a great feel and voice for Stein & Morgoth, but the best part, the part that slays me, is that it's the most involved, drawn-out "THAT WAS A TWO COUNT!" promo I've ever read.

So right now, Stein can do no wrong.
