Diego and I are chatting about lame gimmick matches, such as the cage match...where you can walk out the door. Personally I think over the top is fine, but out the door is inane.
So...what lame stipulation matches can YOU think of?
PS: On A Pole matches aren't bad, just Russo overdid them. More then ANYBODY HAS OVERDID ANYTHING IN THE HISTORY OF WRESTLING.

The Tuxedo Match. Nothing more disturbing than watching Howard Finkle and Harvey Whippleman try to undress each other.
The Dog Kennel from Hell Match. Interesting concept. Hilarious results. Too bad they were going for drama.
Buried Alive matches. Really, when the Undertaker isn't invloved, why bother having them?

The match I propsed isn't a Texas Death Match. What I based it on was a Mexican Death match. It's on the latest ECW DVD. Rey Mysterio versus Psychosis.

"Falls count anywhere. But here's the hitch. You can get all the illegal pins you want. But to win, your opponent has to stay down for a ten count. If he doesn't, the match goes on, until only one man is left standing." - Ravager MNF
The falls count anywhere stipulation changes it, but that's a Texas Death Match. One, two, three...then opponent stays down for ten. Cactus Jack vs Vader.
The addition you have is Falls Count Anywhere. Ding!

What the hell was the 49ers Box Match?
yes, blindfold matches suck ass. Because all it is is the face getting guidance from the crowd.

The Dog Kennel from Hell Match. Interesting concept. Hilarious results. Too bad they were going for drama. That match was in Charlotte NC and I got to go to it live. Those dogs pissing and barking the ENTIRE match made for the worse wrestling match I've ever seen. Then later on Triple H won the World Belt. No one really remembers the Title change...but the dog's pissing well... that's a memory that lasts FOREVER!!

I know this might cause some heat from my fellow lovers of TNA....
But I HATE that damn Ultimate X match ARGGHHHHHHHHHHHH
I also am not a big fan of Hell In A Cell. The Undertaker / Foley match? He fell off a cage. Twice. The Undertaker / Big Bossman match? Yeah see, no one else remembers it either. Undertaker / Orton match. Horrid. Undertaker...Hey wait I'm seeing a trend...Brock Lesnar. Now okay that match was good. So too was the Michaels / Tripel H match or Michaels / Undertaker.
shit...I'm rambling.

The Hell In A Cell is fine enough on it's own, it just --- like any match --- needs the right people in it.
HBK/Undertaker HITC is one of the finest matches of the modern era and possibly of all time. The finish with Kane's debut is the only marred spot.
Taker/Brock, from what I hear, is a hell of a match. Triple H/Cactus Jack HITC is great.
Elimination Chamber is a gimmick that belongs here. I've seen three of four (missed the first one.) III is solid enough. II and IV are crap. IV's biggest problem was simply this: NOBODY USED THE CHAMBER. It was just six guys wrestling and attacking. There was a couple weak bumps onto the side of the railing...
HITC has the same problem. Really, ANY cage match has that problem. If you don't use the cage/cell/chamber, then it's just a wrestling match surrounded by chain link.
