March 20, 2006
NAPW presents it's next great supercard, SOLE SURVIVOR. 30 men. One winner. A single-elimination over-the-top-rope rumble match. The winner will receive a shot at the NAPW Championship.
The NAPW Championship will be defended... two other matches will be signed for the event. This is the biggest night in NAPW history, and the chance for any superstar on the roster to catapult into the main event.
========
THE TITLE SHOT WILL NOT BE UP FOR GRABS TO LOSE IN A MATCH RAAAAAR.
I want to make one thing really clear right off the bat. Thirty (maybe less depending on roster size) guys are going to be in this match. That's ONE winner, 29 not-winners. NOBODY gets to argue with me after the match is over that they should've won, because it's going to be a tough, tough match to decide. The best RPers will end up having huge moments and memorable runs in the match. And seriously, having a good run in a match like this can make your character even if you don't win. You can say "I was in for thirty minutes" or "I eliminated eight people!" or "I started number one and guess what? I WAS STILL THERE at the end." or something.
I will do a random drawing for order of entry, which I will then manipulate to make more interesting, for storytelling. But it is basically random.
There will be no Action! before or after the supercard. MNF/SS/MNF.
=============
March THIRTEENTH, I am out of town in Grande Prairie. I should have computer access so I should still be able to book the card and post it, but I WILL need a full contingent of match writers for that show. I will edit and post it on the boards until get home later that week, so no really worries.
March 27 is normal.
March 28 I move to Abbotsford, so I am off for a couple weeks. That's either a good opportunity for the fed to take a break for a week completely, or else a committe can volunteer and be picked to work on it more while I settle in and get lookin' for work and whatnot.
If it works out better for people, we can skip March 27 MNF and take two weeks off. I have no idea what college schedules are like and when people get killed with exams.
THIS IS ALL THE INFORMATION. Please to respond. =D =D =D

We currently have 38 members on the roster and I think we'll be around there by the supercard, so it should be a thirty man supercard with a few other matches. A couple people might get left out, but I'd probably make that like... only enter one decapitator and one delivery man or something, so as to not leave somebody out for no reason.

I know that I could use a break after Sole Survivor. Two weeks sounds about right.

Beware of any break in e-feds...they generally spell the end of the fed...limit it to one show a week would be better and people can opt out if they want and no title holders penalized

Right now, I'd rather have Nightmare in there than Predator. I think Nightmare has a lot more coming for him.

One show for the two weeks the President is moving not for good! It's just a suggestion. I've seen alot of good feds die with a hiatus...oh Nightmare/ Predator, that means a break!

We did have a Christmas break for two weeks, and we came back stronger than ever. I don't think another two weeks would kill this fed. The Pres is the kind of guy who comes back without slacking off after a little hiatus.
And there's nothing saying people can't still roleplay during break. There's nothing like good ol' character- and story-building posts.
Also, I know that a break would be good for me. A chance to refresh, which is something I wouldn't mind with everything I've had to deal with since December.

I don't see the harm in a two week break. (I agree, we did fairly well coming back after Christmas) But I also don't see why a committee can't run things for a week. (it seemed to work okay last time) But that all depends on work and school for people. Personally, I think two weeks off might be good for some of us (Lord knows I could use a bit of a break)

I'd be up for doing some writing as needed to prevent the two weeks off. And if people wanted to take it off because they needed a break, I don't see why they shouldn't! Give us new blood some time to shine *G*
