No offense to anybody involved. I've decided that there will be no more "Number One Contender" matches in NAPW from now on. WWE has treated that spot as though it's a title to be fought for, and I dislike that. Ratings go up and down based on momentum, wins, quality RPs, angles, etc. Beating a number one contender will likely shoot you way up the rankings (and to number one if you were already close.)
I've been feeling this way for a while. WWE's horrible treatement of Rey's title shot (as though it's a title to be won), as well as just ongoing thought have brought me here. The main event on Monday was a frustrating match to decide, because Ravager & The Doomriders both deserved title shots. Obviously I've worked it out that those men are number one contenders, but that is the last number one contender's 'match' in NAPW. Thanks!
