Brion's Official DVD Top Ten For February!!!!!

As always I have odd tastes in flicks, some you'll like some you won't. Some you've heard of, others you won't. But at any rate, the following is this months list of DVD's to rent if you're tired of nothing ever being on TV. Thus, without further wait.....

(In No Order)

#1. Dog Soldiers ~ Indy flick w/ werewolves. AND a plot!!
#2. Ginger Snaps ~ Indy flick w/ you guessed it...werewolves. Also a clever scary movie with a plot!
#3. Mad Hot Ballroom ~ Documentary / If you can't get into this flick you're old and crusty.
#4. Spellbound ~ Documentary / Same as above, although not quite as entertaining as MHB
#5. Clay Pigeons ~ Indy flick / two words Vince Vaughn
#6. My Bloody Valentine ~ Scary movie that fits this time of year perfectly. Hard to find but worth a watch.
#7. Birth ~ Nicole Kidman in a creepy love movie. Odd but well worth watching.
#8. The Shipping News ~ Great cast but beware...It seems only I like this movie. Sup wit dat?
#9. American Pimp ~ Documentary. Kinda. Bizarre movie that makes you go...WTF?
#10. Jeffrey ~ Gay flick. Great cast and great story. And sorry...No Gay Cowboys Ravager.

Believe it or not, I have seen American Pimp, and it is amazingly hilarious. My favorite quote was from the famous Dennis Hof, owner of the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Nevada.

Clay Pigeons I may check out, but the rest are baboon fodder. Straight Bantha Poodoo! Nichole Kidman as a werewolf, blah.

Dog Soldiers was an awesome movie. Apparently the director of said flick has a new movie out this year (the name escapes me at the moment) which is apparently even better.

I Saw Ginger Snaps. Didn't like Ginger Snaps. Which is strange. Because I'm a horror movie fan, and I like Katherine Isabelle. But this movie dissappointed me.

If you like Vince Vaughn then I assume you've seen Swingers (wait, stupid question).

Oh, and I have yet to see Brokeback Mountain. Since it got so many Oscar Nominations, I might see it. But I'd rather track down Capote and Good Night and Good Luck.

Dude, you didn't like Ginger Snaps? That's messed up. Because Ginger Snaps? Is awesome. Don't be fooled by Allan, people: you need to see this movie.

I didn't say other people wouldn't like Ginger Snaps. It just didn't work for me. I read a short story in an English class that did a better job with the story than the movie did. (not that the movie is based on the story)
