Work hard all week on your RP's only to see someone post like 3 RP's on the day of the deadline? In that case, read the following and see what you cats think.
There is only one (1) rp allowed to be posted per person on the last 12 hours before deadline is called. That way there is no chance for deadliners. If your opponent has not posted all week and you have done one or two before deadline day, then you will not have to worry if he "deadline bombs" as he can produce one. So do not wait for your opponent to rp, just go ahead and start.
* Note* I of course am not smart enough to have thought of this on my own I saw it in another fed and figured we should adopt it as well

They have that in COPW, the smart arses out there post 2 rps 13 hours before deadline, then another one in the last 12 hours. Bastards.

Haha.
Overall I like the idea and will likely implement it along with the RP deadline starting with next week's MNF. I can see how people might be lame still, JC, but nonetheless it...helps.
The big point, I think, is that a person who works hard all week and posts four RPs spaced through the week doesn't get one-upped at the last minute with no chance to respond... I know sometimes I've had a really hard time deciding a match because of those last minute RPs. They do still COUNT, you know?
Anyways, good idea, I like it.

A system I've also seen is that if your opponent posts an RP an hour or less before the deadline, you get an extra hour to post one yourself.

i like the idea. however i tend to do the idiot thing and work a number of double shifts in a row, and dont have the time to rp. gotta pay the bills, and for school and such, so the job comes first.
so sometimes i dont have time to rp during the week, as i have fridays and saturdays off. Those are my usual rp days.
but i'll find time, if need be.

Hey if we're suggesting good ideas from other feds I give to you....
The 24 hour Hardcore title (got it from the now defunct Gulf South Wrestling) basically its a thread where the RP'ers reply to each other's wrestling. Usually the challenger's try and go for a two count (if the champion doesn't reply). The mod slaps down the third, wham, bam , new champ.
I could explain further...
or you could check out the site.

Gulf South's dead?
No wonder there's no UPW joint show. There's less of a UPW.

Now, even though we've got limits on RPs, there's still the timeframe to do them in, right?
When I challenged the Delivery Men, and they accepted, those two (one each) won't count towards the roleplaying for that match, which officially starts on Thursday once Action RPs are done, right?

Si. Until the card is officially booked, the RP period is not active. So uh...dont' RP for matches you know are coming up but haven't been officially booked on the nextshow page.
I'll revamp the rules in the next couple of days to get it all officially worked out.
I'm thinking it's time for NAPW to leave UWP. It's not really going in any direction that benefits us or matters to us.
