Here are the random awards, feel free to comment!
BEST RP WAR: Ultimately it goes to D!/Chris Casino. The HEAT! The HATE! The HORROR! The BOMBSHELLS! Outstanding stuff with the best twists in the road.
HONORABLE MENTION: Maniac/Evan Cartwright, Ladder Match
=====
The "CURSE YOU, RICHARDS!" Award: D-X/Dudes/Crimes. Great work from all three teams. An incredibly difficult match to decide. CURSE YOU, RICHARDS!
HONORABLE MENTION: D!/Casino
=====
BEST MATCH (tie): Maniac vs Evan Cartwright. The RP build gave the match a perfect storyline, and the one-two punch of Jago & Diego co-writing made it something incredibly special. The Gauntlet match was not only challenging to write, but Scott made it into something incredibly special. All six people in that match had moments and stories.
HONORABLE MENTION: The ladder match and cage match have gotten raves ... Crusher vs Travelli told a great story ... really, ALL OF THEM.
=====
WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: Realistically there was a ridiculous amount of quality RPs, but I think this one has to go to Ravager. After a rough few weeks and a number of losses, he stepped up the quality of his work incredibly, returned to some of what him successful and still evolved. Good job, Allen.
HONORABLE MENTION: Evan Cartwright. Some great stuff.
=====
WHAT THE HELL award: The Doomriders. I mean, duh. Not always sure what's going on, but sometimes it's amazing.
HONORABLE MENTION: The Delivery Men. I mean, duh.
=====
THE COMEBACK KID award: J.C. Cook. Despite a tough loss to Minstrel at Joker's Wild, he's becoming more active in NAPW all the time, is a favorite of many people, and has a pretty good record since then. What more is there to learn about JC Cook, what is he truly capable of?
HONORABLE MENTION: Lobo. Even though he again slacked off WHEN HE HAD A BIG MATCH (I'm looking at YOU Alex , the storyline he's picked up with Terry Brandon since returning and the consistency of his character has made Lobo one of the board favorites. Also, great damn RP post-Joker's Wild.
=====
I AM AMUSED AWARD: (tie) Delivery Men. Decapitators. Yep. Promoing together nearly collapsed the space-time continuum?
HONORABLE MENTION: The Crimes, who continue to be one of the most consistent and tough tag teams in NAPW --- this from two guys thrown together with no connection.
=====
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER: You're going to hate me for this, NAPWites, but the MVP goes to... Chris Casino. And if you can't see how valuable he is to NAPW, you're blind. =D
HONORABLE MENTION: The tag team division. Every team in the division has a unique identity, great promos, and makes everything seem important. I love it.
=====
MOST IMPROVED: Jacob, pretty much. Predator is pretty consistent and solid (when he's not destroying kayfabe completely with movie stunt fights), and Apocalypse is getting to be entertaining. Jacob, focus in a bit more on being grounded in the reality of NAPW and work on being a bit less repetitive, but otherwise, you've come a long way.
HONORABLE MENTION: Technique. In one week the character improved drastically. Hope to see you on the boards more often.
