It's been a few hours since we last saw Ravager. He's since traveled to Whyte Avenue. He's back on his favorite rooftop. He sits on the edge of the building, oblivious to the drop below.
He thinks I'm only concerned with myself. He wonders why I haven't taken him to task. He talks so much!
Pulls out a mask similar to the one Minstrel wears.
You see Minstrel, lately, when I attack people outside the ring, I get arrested. And I don't like being arrested. It costs me money. It wastes my time having to bail myself out of jail. So that's why I haven't come after you. In the ring, Monday Night, I'm going to give you everything you deserve. I've heard a lot of people talking about the twelve days of Christmas. (smirks) I only need one day to give you your perfect gift Minstrel. I got you something real nice. I hope you like it, there's no refunds.
Drops the mask. We watch as the mask falls to the ground, and shatters.
Minstrel, I give you the gift of immortality. Because after Monday Night, your name will live on forever... as the man Ravager destroyed in the centre of the ring. People will talk about you in hushed tones. You will be a cautionary tale that older wrestlers tell their kids to keep them out of the business. You will be a myth. An urban legend. And you will be a minor footnote in my history. You may be the craziest man I've faced in the ring. But your not the best wrestler I've faced. You're not the toughest wrestler I've faced. You're just a wanna-be actor who's been rejected a few too many times and it's gotten to you. You think my anger will cause me to make mistakes? How many mistakes will you make when you're searching for a funny joke or magic trick in the ring? Because if I don't capitalize, Technique will.
And Technique, please don't take this as me over-looking you, because I know you've been training, doing bench presses and learning power moves. But I've beaten powerful guys. And I've beaten luchdores. And all of them were more experienced than you. You bit off more than you can chew. You got guts, but you're not ready to swim in the deep end yet.
Monday. The last show of 2005. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Come 2006, I will still be Provincial Champion. Minstrel and Technique are two obstacles that I will overcome on my way to bigger and better things. I just hope the NAPW is ready for what I have ready for 2006.
Ravager smirks as we fade out.
