Should the NAPW merge promo boards with UWP?

Ok, here's the deal. We're a part of the UWP umbrella. There has recently been a suggestion from the UWP head. I'll just copy and paste the info here.



"Here is my suggestion. Why not put every region's rp forums on the UWP boards after their next rp period ends? Then every fed shares the community OOC with you regional heads as global mods for the entire forums.

The reason I suggest that is for one, the UWP gets busier, those without a lot of roster can promote more with those that are looking for more then one fed.

We can plan the joint shows easier this way as well as just all in all make the place a better, stronger community. It is also a good way to get rid of those no shows because those that do not register to these forums, do not want to be in the fed anyway. I come to this conclusion due to every one of the feds using the same style of forums."




So for us, that would mean that we would have to all re-register on the UWP board, but realistically we all will be registering on there eventually. I would link to the current promo board so we'd have an archive of our stuff...

and of course should things turn weird, then we can use this again.

The other drawback is that we would have to forgo the NAPW color scheme and use the overall board colors. I don't know if we'd be able to change it.


So please vote and offer your thoughts and opinions on this idea. We won't be doing an inter-promotional event til the new year yet, but it is a good way of getting people active on the full UWP boards. Anyways.

Listen. I like the UWP and cannot, spell that CAN! NOT! wait to do our first joint show.

i don't really care for umbrellas at all. i realize that it's a fantastic way to publicize the fed, but i enjoy the intimacy that regular e-fed boards have.

I think we're cool enough with our own board. It's easier to read.

Then how would we have Umbrella Matches?

Well, you suspend the umbrella from a pole. The two wrestlers who are fighting have to climb the pole to get the umbrella and use it. I believe it was The Great Sauske vs. Taka Michinoku match that made the umbrella match famous. Of course, that match was about the wrestling more than the umbrella. It was all storytelling.
