Roddy Piper talks in his book about the wrestling fraternity. Kind of a brotherhood/bond type thing. He actually did a promo in WCW about the fraternity and the guys who left too soon. Eddie battled a lot of demons in his life. It's a shame they had to catch up to him like this. It's a bigger shame that this leaves three kids without a father.

Oh no...
I'm glad Eddy found Jesus in the past few years and was able to overcome his problems and his past.
This is terrible. One of the worst things to ever happen in professional wrestling.

I hope nobody gets offended by my roleplay. It's my way of showing my grief over Eddie's passing, and I don't care if it's even counted for the match. All I can do to pay tribute to a great wrestler, and a great man.
RIP Eddie.

A great wrestler has passed away, and I'm sure we'll be seeing the tributes very, very soon.
I know which DVD *I'll* be throwing in tonight.

Static suggested I post this. From my livejournal.
====================================
And I walked in the door, called Suzy, no answer, I left a message and signed on to the internet, and the first thing I see is Andrew Hall's MSN name. (Andrew) > RIP Eddie Guerrero, 1967-2005
RIP Eddie Guerrero.
RIP Eddie Guerrero.
RIP...
Eddie Guerrero.
Heart failure while brushing his teeth, thirty minutes after breakfast with his nephew Chavo Guerrero. 38 years old. A past that was overcome but left his heart weakened... One of the best professional wrestlers of all time. And a man who overcame drug and alcohol abuse, climbed back, became the world's champion, reconciled with his wife, and talked. Openly. About it all. And showed the world what redemption was. He was a christian by his own words, in a world of pro wrestling, and a life of screwing up and addiction. And he thanked the Lord for helping him overcome it all.
Why am I weeping for a man I never knew personally? I don't know. It's something that happens to wrestling fans, the bond that the wrestlers grow with us, that makes us love them, and cheer with them, and cry with them, and feel. The best of them, they help us to feel the highs and the lows. Don't you ever insult professional wrestling to me again. Don't you ever take away what Eddie Guerrero did with his passion, his life, his faith and his battle. What he brought out in us. He's more than the best of us.
He overcame. Ten bell salute tomorrow night at Raw, which I will share with my good friend Andrew Hall. And I will probably weep some more and Eddie Guerrero is gone, alive in heaven, not just because it's nice to think he's there, but because he believed. It's a sad day, a great day all at once, but so much a sad day. Pray for his wife and children, now left without a father, the father and husband they got back.
And I'm always going to hear in my mind the chants of Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie...
