Promo begins as "The Show" is preparing to once again appear on the number one rated weekly Canadian radio wrestling show, "Between the Ropes with Johnny B".
Johnny B: Well, that does it for our indy recap. Now let's welcome back one of our most popular guest, coming off at big win down in North Carolina for the upstart Rebel Pro promotion, he is none other then "The Show" Chad Kurtis.
Show: Thank you, Johnny, it's good to be back on your show and good to be back in Canada! I mean I had to work my way through a crowd of wrestling fans outside the studio to even get in here. That's why I love about Canadian fans that love the sport like none other.
Johnny B: That's true. I mean they are way we on number one on the radio, but let's get down to business. I want to talk about your big win in the Carolinas in the 6 man battle royale. The one that gives you an automatic shot at the Carolina title.
Show: It was a great win over some very talented wrestlers, but you know I don't have time to look make and enjoy the win. I mean I have a big match-up this week in NAPW for the Provincial title against "LDK' Lloyd Rees.
Johnny B: Let's talk about this match-up. I mean last time you two faced was in a four man dance to unified the Provincial and Television championship in what has to be one of the best match in this short year. You come up just a little short, so why do you think it's going to be different this time?
Show: This match is one-on-one, face-to-face, so I only have to prepare for one man. That makes a big difference. Plus I am more focused and motivated this time. I mean every morning and evening when I do my one mile steeplechase, my 100 sit-ups, my 3 hours of strength and conditioning, and my 2 hours in the weight room all I think about is raising up the Provincial title in victory. Don't get me wrong I know that Rees is a great wrestler, but so I am. Bottom line is only one of us can walk away with the title, and "The Last 'Action!' Hero is going to be that one!
Johnny B: The buzz around you has been how much more focused you are now then you was just a month ago. I mean everyone sees a big difference in you starting with you win for to the Television championship to now. What do you think that difference is and what do you think brought it to be?
Show: I can tell a difference in "The Show" lately. I mean when I first got here in NAPW, it was like I was holding something back. I mean I wanted to go out and give everything to every match, but something was holding me back. Then when I beat Darko for the Television champion and land a CK finale on "LDK" off the top of a ladder my juices started flowing. My adrenaline was pumping. It was the return of "The True PTPer"! So, when I step in the ring this week against "LDK" I am going to show the world exactly what "The Show" is capable of!
Johnny B: The match-up between you and "LDK" Lloyd Rees should be one hell of a match-up, but I want to talk to you about this newcomer, Donovan Astros. I mean you seem to take some offense to him calling himself the savior of NAPW and in return he seemed to take some offense to your comments about him. How do you stay focused when on the task at hand when you have someone like Astros lurking in the background?
Show: Staying focused on "LDK" is no problem at all. I mean that's just part of being a professional wrestler. I mean I didn't even know that Astros had made more comments about me until I was checking my e-mail last night. I mean right now I am living in the minute focused on my shot at the Provincial championship. Nothing else matters for the moment! But, Astros doesn't have to worry his day will come when he steps in the ring with "the innovator of offense", "the next great superstar", the last 'Action!' hero, "the true PTPer', "The Show" Chad Kurtis and then he is going to say to himself what the hell have I go myself into, but like I said right here, right now I am focused on "LDK"!
Scene fades as "Between the Ropes with Johnny B" goes to a commercial break.
