Promo starts as we rejoin "The Show" on his road trip to Toronto. He has just got done filling his tank and has just got back on the road...
Show: I sure by now the fans of NAPW are wondering why I choose to drive to Sole Survivor II instead of flying in like I usually do. It's actually quite simple. See, "The Show' finds road trips to be relaxing plus I wanted time to reflect on some stuff.
"The Show" adjust his radio station as he begins listening to the UCLA-Kansas game on ESPN radio.
Show: You see "The Show" got to thinking that the fans and fellow wrestlers here in NAPW don't really done jack about him, so he was like hell maybe we should show everyone exactly what made "The Show" into what he is now. You see everyone seems to think that "The Show" is just some arrogant, young, brash pain in the ass wrestler who has had everything hand to him.
"The Show" face expressions get real serious as he begins to talk about his humble beginnings.
Show: You see there is a side of "The Show" he doesn't usually talk about. A side that is only know until now by his half-brother, Matthew. I mean it's no secret that I was an all-american wrestler at Duke and won a gold medal for the USA at the good will games, but I want to take you further back then that. Back to when I was raised by my mom and my step-dad. Back to the trailer court where we lived sometimes not knowing where our next meal would come from due to my step-dad's drug use. Back to the days where my step-dad would beat on me and mom. These are the days when I learned to overcome whatever was put in front of me.
"The Show" takes a sip of his coke and adjusts himself in the seat before continuing.
Show: I want to take you back to when I use to spend as much time in JV lock-up as I did at school, because I was always fighting. This was before I discovered the sport that I love so much. Before I learned that I had the skills to be an amateur and pro champion. But, these where still very important years in my life. I learned a lot in this time. I learned to never give up, never let anyone tell you that you ain't good enough, and to keep going til I get where you want to be. You maybe asking yourself why "The Show" is sharing stuff this personal with you. Will, two reasons one so you understand where I came from, and two, so you understand why there is always a fire burning in me.
Scene fades as "The Show" stops talking and starts listening to the game on the radio...
