Josh Reynolds catches up with "The Show" Chad Kurtis shortly after coming up just short of winning the unification match-up sitting alone in the locker room as we have became familiar with after a lost. His match-up against for DXer, Stylin' Kyle Roberts, was just announced and JR wants to get the scoop.
JR: Chad, can I get a few words with you?
Show: This ain't a good time, JR, not a good time at all. So, I suggest unless you want another taste of my superkick you just leave me the hell alone!
JR: (Backing up) Now, Chad there ain't no need in that. I just wanted to congratulate you on a hell of an effort and let you know you will be taking on Kyle Roberts next week and get your thoughts on that.
Show: There is no need in saying congrats on a good match. I mean it was a hell of a battle, but I fell short of my goal, and I hate losing. So, maybe I should take some kind of moral victory from this match. Out lasting two of NAPW's best and almost walking away with the unified Provincial Champion. But, you see almost is the key word there, and almost ain't good enough for "The Show". I feel like I let the fans of the Television title and Action! down, but I don't need no crying towel. I mean I am going to use this lost as a fuel for the fire that burns inside of me!
JR: You hate losing. That's fair enough, but you must feel proud of the effort you gave. I mean especially the CK finale off the top of the ladder. That move almost made me wet my pants.
Show: From what I here it doesn't take much to make you wet your pants, but I'll give it up for that move. I didn't even think about it. I mean I was on the ladder, and thought I had a chance to put away "LDK", so I went for it! I mean that's what "The Show" is all about laying it all on the line. So, to answer you question "The Show" is proud of the fact that he always puts everything on the line and makes the fans come back screaming for more, but I am pissed off that I didn't give enough to secure victory!
JR: Let's move on and talk about your up coming match up against Stylin' Kyle Roberts. This is a man who has been on a roll since turning on his partner. I mean he has made everyone he faced tap out. How do you prepare for a man on a roll like this?
Show: You know sound like a little school girl when you get all excited. But, to answer your question a wise man once said that all thing must come to an end, and that's exactly what is going to happen to Mr. Roberts little streak of making people tap out. I mean their is no quit in "The Show", so tapping out ain't going to happen. I mean I guess I am suppose to be intimidated with the fact that I am climbing in the ring with "the great" Stylin' Kyle Roberts. Bull shit! I ain't intimidated by him or anyone else. I am going to climb in the ring and show him and everyone else how I got labeled "The innovator of offense", "The true PTPer", "The Show", and no one will be the same!
JR: What no guarantee this time. I mean come on, Chad. Why don't you give the fans what they want. I mean everyone knows how cocky you are. You aren't going to let one little defeat bring you down, are you?
"The Show" connects with a superkick knocking Josh Reynolds out cold...
Show: Some people just don't know when to shut the hell up! This little interview is almost over, but I got two message to send before I shut up. First to "LDK", I hope you enjoyed your taste of the CK finale, because we will meet again and next time you won't be leaving the ring of you own free will, and now to my opponent this week, Stylin' Kyle Roberts. Roberts, here's a little newsflash for you. You are about to climb in the ring with a bomb that has a very short fuse. You are climbing in the ring with a man that is a master of some many styles you can't prepare for him. So, my advice to you is to go ahead and style and profile your way out to the ring, because after I land the CK finale on your candy-ass you ain't going to be stylin' or profilin'! Oh yeah, just in case you forgot my name is "The Show" Chad Kurtis and I approved this interview!
Scene fades out as EMS and NAPW medical staff rush in to check on Josh Reynolds, and "The Show" Chad Kurtis heads out to meet up with Matthew at the hospital with Lyndsey.
