The scene opens up with Jeff James sitting in the center of a dark room. He's leaning forward, his forearms on his lap and his head hanging. A single light comes to life above him and he slowly raises his head staring down the camera
Jeff James: In the wrestling business...People lie, people exaggerate and people bullshit you. Never will you hear the complete unbiased truth. But tonight will be historical. Tonight, I plan on telling you the truth and nothing but the truth...Although what I just told you may sound interesting. The real question is...Can you handle the truth?
He smirks and closes his eyes for a moment before looking back into the camera with his trademark glare
Jeff James: I am going to tell you the truth about the TV Title.
I am going to show you dimwits what the TV Championship means!
Lets cut to a clip.
Jeff James fades to black as the aforementioned clip comes to life. At first its a black background then highlights of the first ever TV Title match begin to play. While Jeff talks, the screen will show highlights of every TV Title match to date.
Jeff James' voice: The NAPW Television Championship...A title that has been overlooked by many of New Alberta Pro's top athletes. A division where competition flourishes and underhanded tactics and poor showmanship are frowned upon...Although that wasn't always the case.
I know I've spoken about this many times, but it's as if it goes through one ear and out the other...You fans are more concentrated on the "bigger" more "important" titles. But there has always been that group of fans who tune into NAPW each and every Friday to watch people like Chad Kurtis and I risk our lives every single night for that title.
Those fans support our division more than any division in professional wrestling today...Do you know the reason why they do that? We are the most determined, competitive and athletic wrestlers in the world. When New Alberta Pro Wrestling first brought the Television Title to this world...They were just trying to make the lower mid-carders and openers feel as if they have a chane to win gold. That title was just so we can feel as if NAPW gives a shit about us.
Well, your plan succeeded NAPW. That title became everything to us...To us that title was more prestigious than the NAPW Title...Every Friday even us wrestlers tuned in to watch that the champ defend the title. It amazed me at first, how determined these guys actually were...Defending that title each and every week...So I decided to enter the division myself.
The Television Title division was becoming corrupt. You had Mr. Slick terrorizing the division for six weeks and a hopeful Wayne Wright struggling to win...Then I got angry and called both of them out. I was corrupt as well. What happened? I won and lost it two weeks later to my idol...To a man that I hope to wrestle one last time...The Yellow Chicken. His charisma was unbelievable, I think he actually thought he was a chicken! He showed me what competition was. He showed me that I wasn't as good as I told myself I was. He got me to train harder, to learn new moves, to learn see what an opponent is going to do before they even think about doing it...If it wasn't for the Yellow Chicken then there wouldn't be a Jeff James you've all come to know and love. I wouldn't be the record breaker. I wouldn't be the risk taker and I would of never beat him for that title. I'd just be another kid trying to make it.
But you've heard me tell you that a million times now haven't you?
So lets fast forward a bit To the end of my reign, the division wasn't the same. People were frustrated. No one was able to beat me. Then I let my anger get the best of me and gave Chad Kurtis and Prince Darko a title shot...And in my final moments of glory I put on what I consider to be one of the greatest matches of my life. I gave it EVERYTHING I had. I was running on pure will, my body wanted to crumble and die but I kept going until Darko finally hit me with a big one...I don't remember much after hitting the mat. I remember looking up to Darko...As the referee's hand went down for the three and thinking...He deserves it...My 12 week reign ended that night...But I wasn't disappointed. I was happy, my long time friend had finally surpassed me. He was the better wrestler, so thats why I went back to training harder than ever...I didn't go back to the TV Title division though.
With Prince Darko as the champion I knew those twelve weeks of hard work and determination would go to waste. While Darko is extremely talented, he lets it get to his head...Then that waste of space we call Nightmare beat him and I thought the past twelve weeks of my life officially meant nothing...Until my old rival was granted one more TV Title match...In his third title shot he finally captured the title...The last Action! hero as he calls himself, he earned both the championship and that nickname. Chad Kurtis followed a similar way of life...He enjoys competition and respects his opponents. He knew my ways...Sadly when Chad and I's work finally caused the TV Title to mean something...NAPW decided to pull the plug on Action! and its title.
You see how easily they do it? Its as if they believe this is a game...As if the TV Title means nothing... This is how they thank The Crusher, Don Travelli, Lobo, Wayne Wright, Uzi, Mark Cage,Mr. Slick The Yellow Chicken, Chad Kurtis and I... This is what all of your work has lead to! Since January 1st 2006...This division has worked its ass off...This division made you money, this division got you fans, this division redefined the word Action...So I'll speak for everyone I previously mentioned when I say this...Thanks for nothing New Alberta Pro.
I promised you the truth and there it is. While I will wrestle with NAPW until its closing, I will never forget the fact that you pulled the plug on my division. Expenses or not, getting rid of that title is uncalled for. Which is why I am going win this unification match. I have one last chance to to save what I've worked soo hard for...You think you've seen me risk my life before? You think you've seen my at my best? What your going to see in this unification match is a Jeff James that has never been seen by anyone.
And before I go.
I would like you all to know that I respect every man in that ring. Even that untouchables pig Kurt Castle. While I dislike what he stands for, he's earned his title...Lloyd Rees...Yes, I mocked you and yes I've talked shit about you...But I can't deny why you've done for this business. You are extremely talented and if you do happen to win, make sure it's not because you cheated. Chad Kurtis...If I don't win this match, then I'm hoping its you...Keep the Television Title alive.
The highlights end with the final TV Title match. Chad Kurtis is shown hitting the CK Finale and pinning Nightmare. After the three the scene fades and comes back to life after a few seconds, what you see is a picture of the TV Title, the nameplate is empty. Then a picture of The Crusher appears, his name on the nameplate. Then a picture of Don Travelli appears next to The Crusher, his name replacing Crusher's on the nameplate...Then Predetor,Lobo,Wayne Wright,Uzi,Lloyd Rees,Mark Cage,Mr. Slick,Jeff James, The Yellow Chicken, Prince Darko, Nightmare and finally Chad Kurtis. (With every new picture the persons name appears on the nameplate)
The picture then becomes translucent, Jeff James still in his chair, he's looking directly at the camera...The nameplate changes from Chad Kurtis to Jeff James and we fade to black
