Scene opens as "The Show" Chad Kurtis climbs in a cab headed to the Radisson Plaza in Regina, Saskatchewan. The cabbie loads Chad's bags in the truck and hold opens the door for him. The cabbie stares at him trying to figure out where he knows him from.
Cabbie: I think I got it. I think I know where I have seen you before. Aren't you "The Show" Chad Kurtis from NAPW?
Show: Yes, I am the true PTPer, "the last 'Action!' hero, "The Show" Chad Kurtis. You must be a fan of NAPW?
Cabbie: I was until Joseph Winchell almost ruined it. I mean NAPW has more talent then any other fed out there, but now we are limited to two shows a month. I also can't get over the fact that Action! and the television championship is going to be no more. I been a fan of the TV title since what, like January 5, 2006 when Crusher defeated Rex Caliber for the vacant title.
Show: Wow, a true fan! You know even with NAPW only have two shows a month, we do have a sister league with Rebel Pro Wrestling. I mean it going to have some of NAPW's best plus some newbies. It should be good.
Cabbie: Yeah, but with no TV deal. I won't get to watch it much.
Show: I understand your disappointment. I ain't exactly happy about the cancellation of Action!, but their ain't a whole lot I can do except go out for my unification match and show to the fans and everyone else exactly how much the television title means to me, and that's what I am going to do!
Cabbie: I can't wait for the match. I stood in line just to get tickets to the event. I mean their is some great match-ups on the card, but the unification match should steal the show with four head liners facing-off against each other.
Show: Let's just break down the unification match. We have the headliner, the true PTPer, "the last 'Action!' hero", yours truly "The Show" Chad Kurtis taking on "the shirt tail kid" Kurt Castle, "Mr. What have you done for me lately" Lloyd Rees, and Jeff James. The way I see this match-up is it is going to come down you wants it more, who has the desire the win. Simply put this match is going to come down to the will to win, and that' exactly why "The Show" Chad Kurtis is going to walk away with the unified provincial championship!
Cabbie: Let me get this correct, is "The Show" Chad Kurtis guaranteeing victory?
Show: I don't think that exactly what I said, but since you asked. Hell yeah, "The Show" Chad Kurtis AKA "The Last 'Action' Hero" is guaranteeing victory!
Cabbie: Chad, that's a big development. Are you sure you want to go out on the limb like that, I mean I have to be honest with you. I am not a cabbie. I mean I am a sports writer for "The Regina Leader-Post". I paid off the cabbie to let me pick you up.
Show: That explains a lot, but no I don't want to back off my guarantee. That's how I feel. So, let me say once again, "The Show" Chad Kurtis AKA "The Last 'Action!' Hero will walk away victorious and with the provincial title!
The Cab pulls up in front of the Radisson Plaza. The real cabbie comes and opens the door for "The Show" and starts to unload his luggage.
Cabbie: Before you get out do you have any further comments for or about your opponents in the unification match?
Show: I done said all that needs to be said for now. I mean I ain't going to sink down to some of my opponents level and personally attack each of my opponents. I am just going to say that I am going to bring everything I got and put it in this match, and like I already said,I guarantee victory for "The Show" Chad Kurtis AKA "The Last 'Action!' Hero!!!
"The Show" gets out of the cab and closes the door. Chad walks over and reaches into his bag and pulls out his television title and drapes it on his shoulder, looks back at the reporter and proclaims, I guarantee victory for "The Show" as the scene fades....
