(The scene is inside a hospital room. There is a body laying on a bed with a tag on his toe. The camera scans up towards the head. It’s a young man, but isn’t anyone famous or recognizable. Then we see Sebastien Martyr dressed in a doctors lab coat. He glances at the body and then smiles at the camera.)
Martyr: NAPW can you smell it? The stench of death is in the air. This is a morgue, where bodies get stored. This isn’t a place most would enjoy. But I find it peaceful. This particular one allows visitors for the right price. Money isn’t much of an issue for me, so I don’t mind it. It seems that the NAPW isn’t buzzing about me anymore. I hear that people are afraid of me, and want me to go away. They don't mention me in hopes that I disappear. I hear rumblings that Dez Carter is scared of the unknown mystery man named Martyr.
(Martyr touches the forehead of the deceased.)
Martyr: This guy was young, maybe twenty nine years old. He wasted his life, holding onto old glory that he could never top. Dez, what have you done since that Pure honor trophy was taken from you? Feuded with a referee with your retarded partner? Big time matches... huh Dez? You are pathetic. My match with you isn’t even worth getting out of bed for. I have other things planned, since my match with you will be quick. I can’t reason why Rex “God” Caliber would throw you to this hungry lion. You need to be setting up rings but yet you get to wrestle me. He must hate you, or underestimate my ability. You will enter a world of pain Dez... but like I’ve promised... no career ending injuries, unless you force my hand. You want a preview of that Dez?
(The scene changes to Sebastien Martyr, still in the doctor outfit, standing in a waiting room. He is speaking to an empty chair.)
Martyr: I’m glad to see that all of Dez Carter’s loved ones have all gathered as requested.
(He glances at a clip board then looks at the empty chair.)
Martyr: The good news is that he will be able to gain the ability to speak again... with time. He will walk again soon too. It was a shame that he had to make the mistake of trying to be a hero. He tried to prove that he was more than a inside joke on the NAPW roster. He wanted to be known for more than the one hit wonder, who couldn’t wrestle his way out of one of these:
(Sebastien presents a brown paper bag.)
Martyr: He took the Sacrifice and will never be the same. He could wrestle again, at or below the mediocre level he achieved before his meeting with the man revolutionizing the wrestling industry. Dez was at best a bottom feeder who rode the coat tails of a retarded man just to get a few notable matches. His best of DVD is less than ten minutes long and hasn’t sold one copy. He has nothing to look forward to but death, but he stays alive for unknown reasons. I thank you again for showing your support for Dez Carter. Rex Caliber’s going to lose a lot of money not having him on the cards. He drew so... so...so much money! He is up there with NAPW Legends, The BEE!, Chris Kamikaze and don’t forget... Sakura.
(The scene changes once again and it is back to the usual empty street. Sebastien is in the middle of it, sitting in the medieval chair while rain pours down.)
Martyr: Grim future for Dez. Now I don’t look at that as the way things will go. He could just simply enter the ring, wrestle a short clean match and leave without trying to anger me. But he could shoot his mouth off and make me do Rex Caliber a favor I DON’T WANT TO DO! He could make that whole scene a reality. Dez Carter isn’t the chosen first victim, but by an Act of Caliber, he might back his way into that position. All hail Sebastien MARTYR!
(The scene ends with lightning striking in the background and the down pour continuing. Sebastien just stares into the camera.)
