We return to that lake. The ice is now gone.
Prince Darko It's hot out. It must be summer, for the winter has ended. The kids can now go out and play and enjoy youth. Be a child again.
So maybe it wasn't the longest winter.
So maybe I did fail.
But don't we all. Don't we all come to a point in life where all we do is fail, fail, fail, fail. Don't we all come to that point in life where it can't get any low. Where you can't do any worse.
But you do and you lose all hope. Everyone around becomes a judge. They don't say a word, but you know what they want to say.
You begin to judge everything you do. Feeling worthless, looking at yourself and wondering. "Why do I suck. How many times will I fail?"
At times, you'll gain a bit of success, you feel like a million bucks. Fresh, ready to face the world. Your pass is gone for that moment. You're high.
And then, you lose it all once again. Back to that ditch you built for yourself. Back to that hole, then you feel worthless once more. The past is back to haunt you. Your life becomes hell, and suicide becomes more of a vacation then death.
That gun, that noose, that bottle of aspirin, that knife becomes an option. You want to use it. You wonder, "Will anyone care?" "Will the people around you care?"
Then that's when it hits you. That's what keeps you going. You know someone out there will care. You know some out there does see you for who are, not for what you do. Then you wake up everyday, you do what do everyday.
Yes, the failing does hurt, it does bring back to that suicidal point everyday. But you never do it.
Because you know that people care. So it instills hope.
Some people have a spouse or their kids.
As for me, I have The Foundation.
Together we are a family. We fail together and we raise together.
When one is in pain the other is in pain. So one doesn't feel left out.
When one reaches the top it's for all of them. A Family.
We fall right now, We continue to fall. We learn to lose and are thought how to win.
We know that being at the top will be sweet, nothing else in the world will be compared to such a better feeling.
So Next Generation. Are you ready? Thomas and I we are two men with nothing to lose. All to gain.
See, The Foundation, we've lost, lost, lost. We don't fear losing anymore.
We've grown accustomed to losing.
We are now ready for a change.
